This is the best buy of 2018 for me. Alexa TV Cube does everything for me. I literally don't use a controller anymore. Not even for cable and switching channels. Now they added where you don't have to always say Alexa. You can just send commands. Must get! Forget universal controllers!!!

I’ve had the fire stick, 4K fire stick, and now this, the fire tv cube, and i am blown away. The cube is by far worth the money. The voice control is awesome and it can put my ring doorbell camera and nest drop cameras on my television. I’ll never go back to any other streaming device!!!

An easy to use box to tap into Amazon's ecosystem, as well as most other things. Easy to use and set up--we find ourselves using the handy voice controls much more than I thought we would. We will be cutting out cable..I never thought my wife would approve of such a thing!

Purchased this for my parents. Pretty much the same as the other Amazon Tv capabilities. What I like the most is that this is Alexa enabled. The setup was easy. CRITICAL: Make sure you have an Alexa compatible TV for changing Input! Otherwise you will need another remote.

Overall a lot faster than the stick or the pendant. Alexa is great to have near your t.v. Also, to be able to see front door with the other SMART video stuff is really cool. Don’t know if it’s worth over a hundred dollars but definitely worth upgrading when it was on sale.

Fire cube installation was simple. Enjoy the ability to ask Alexa for information on various subjects. Sometimes she gives a wron response but overall she does well. Cube does not work with my steaming provider for my television streaming package. This was a disappointment. Enjoy all other programming offered .

With 2 young kids in the house remotes are always going missing or the batteries are getting taken for toys or video game controllers. I love that everything is voice activated and it was easy to set up! I'll definitely be buying another one for my other tv

My wife is disabled and it really helps her to not have to find a remote to operate our entertainment center. Not only does the Fire TV Cube let you control its apps by voice, but we have also configured her to turn the TV on and off. She (Alexa) will also change between HDMI inputs by voice, which helps when we want to play video games or watch cable. Probably the coolest feature though, is when my entire system is off, if I want to listen to a specific song or watch a specific YouTube video, I can tell Alexa to play the song or video on Amazon Music or YouTube, and she will turn my TV and audio receiver on, go to the app I asked for, search for the song/video. I literally walk out of my bedroom in the morning, tell her to play a specific song/video, and listen to it while making breakfast without ever leaving my kitchen!

Controls lights and T.V. that isn't compatible with Alexa Show. Easy to use and install. No need for remote as you can just ask Alexa to turn the volume up or change the channel. Works with Netflix and Hulu and of course Prime Video.

If you want the best smart home compatible product that connects to your smart tv then this is the device you should get. I had no idea about the other features it came with because the employee didn’t tell me about the other features it includes I was doing as much research as I could. I had no idea it controls my DVR, my surround sound, my volume and so much more. It’s the best product I’ve owned and it’s definitely been a hands free helper to me when I got my hands full. I could not be happier. You will not be disappointed. If your looking for a device that’s 4k for Netflix, YouTube, Hulu and your other favorite apps then this is the device for you. If your an Alexa fan as well and have a bunch of Alexa devices around the house then add this to your collection. Thank you, have a great day

Works great with my older Sanyo TV that isn't even a smart tv. Turns on the tv and my Yamaha stereo to the correct HDMI port and allows me to raise or lower the volume with voice command. I only wish that it would work with projectors.

I bought this after being tired of the extremely poor integration of the Echo Dot with the Fire TV Stick. I also have Google Home but it is practically only good for enabling small children to be able to entertain themselves with YouTube. On the other hand, Alexa can control my Directv, my Ring cameras, Netflix and Prime Video as well as many more services and apps. It now has an official YouTube app so it can practically do anything which can not be said about Google Home (at least in my household with my devices). Google is way better at understanding voice commands but it’s a null value if can’t really do anything without having to buy a bunch of Google adapters or devices. The FireTV Cube is my favorite smart home device and it’ll probably be yours too!

Loving the fire cube. Just found out about it and it is an amazing device.it works seamlessly with my other devices. Turns tv, fios box, sound bar on and off and changes between fios and Netflix and youtube with verbal prompting.

I really have fallen in love with this thing. It is so fast and snappy. The apps load up quickly, it doesn't freeze (like my Firestick used to) and most importantly, it responds so well to my voice and is pretty easy to setup.

It was simple to set up, it's taking a little longer get it to work correctly, Alexa can be a bit fickle...but it's nice to ask the Cube to turn on and off the TV...my wife really appreciates that! Best yet, was the price!

The Cube is extraordinary in its streaming class. It is the leader, leaps above the field, performance is stronger than any previous Amazon device. Smoother and faster before you ever speak a command. Love it.

Minimal set up time, connected tv and a.v. receiver to one remote, works seemlessly with psvue and Netflix or prime. One sentence to Alexa will turn everything on or off and tune to a specific app or channel. Love it!

The fire TV cube is the single greatest thing that Amazon has contributed to smartphone technology in my opinion. It can control my entire Media Center, my entire rooms smart home devices, and utilize skills like putting my desktop to sleep, and also waking it up to play games on it. On top of all that, it's really easy to use it to play specific media, and even sends you on-screen notifications about your packages while you are watching or listening to that media. The only shortcoming is it's microphone capabilities, which is not as good as the echo generation 3. even though it's right next to my bed, I sometimes have trouble getting it to hear me even as I'm yelling. I hope they improve the microphone next time.

I purchased this on sale, it only cost a bit more than a 4K Roku stick. At first I regretted purchasing it, and wanted to exchange it for a Roku; but, ended up keeping it in hopes that Amazon will release updates to make it better. I had hoped that the Cube would serve as a media player; but, also be able to replace the Echo Dot that’s in the bedroom; but, it sort of can’t replace an Echo. I usually ask my Echo to play music for sleep at night, and it plays music through its built in speaker; where the Cube has a built in speaker; but, it can’t stream music without turning on the TV, which creates annoying light that I don’t want while trying to fall asleep. It’s also not smart enough to be able to turn the TV off in x-minutes or x-hours. I wish the Cube didn’t want to use the TV for almost everything, and that it were able to use its built in speaker for more things. I did end up keeping it, and it’s pretty useful for some things, like I can ask it to play a certain show, and it will turn on the TV and play the show, and then when done I can ask it to turn off the TV. With that said, it does some annoying things, like I might ask it to pause the show while I step away for a bit, and it does; but, if asked to continue playing, it’ll either switch to read a Kindle ebook, or stream music; so it’s touchy on how it wants certain commands. The remote that it came with is great, and works nicely - unlike the older remotes that shipped with the Firestick’s, this one actually has built in volume and power buttons. Voice commands work nicely with Amazon apps; but, in apps like PS Vue, not so well - like I can;t ask it to stream X-show on PS Vue; I can just ask it to open PS Vue. The nice thing is that Amazon allows for different names on their devices, so I kept the Echo in the room and call her “Alexa”, which the Cube is “Echo”.

I love using my voice to control my tv, My soundbar works better with Alexa than with my TV remote. I enjoy the search feature and feel there is almost too much available to choose from! Super easy to set up!
