Good, but not ready for primetime
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The FireTV Cube has tons of potential, but it's really not designed for households with any other streaming device/cable than FireTV Cube. The voice commands are not as complete as the Echo or Dot, nor do the actions immediately work (or work at all sometimes) when issuing commands. Lastly, the command interface does not flow well with all the apps. Much more needs to be done to make this a day-to-day device as opposed to a novelty.

It Works

I can ask Alexa to change inputs on my TV to different HDMI and it performs the task precisely. I can speak to the unit and ask for a variety of answers and it will respond and tell you if it cannot. I have applied a rhyming skill game and Jeopardy and they both are fun to play.
