Decent design but slow

Cut the chord a few years ago and never looked back. But the cube is garbage!! With the amount of memory and storage it has I thought it would blow away the speed of the other Fire TV devices........ WRONG! This thing is laggy as ....... I have three other Echo devices in the house as well. When I talk to them they are pretty responsive. This thing must have to call home to ET's planet to make decisions. Bottom line, I do not recommend this item to anyone! The one I bought from Best Buy has been sent back to Amazon for repair or replacement 4 months in because I could not take it anymore.

I am disappointed with this device

They filled up so quick with downloaded stuffs that I said let me get something with even more space and I purchased the fire tv cube. The set up was not easy; however, I managed. After I got up and running, I couldn’t and still can’t really enjoy a good show like I used to with the fire stick. The fire tv cube stops, I mean, pauses itself almost every minute. I have to hold on to the remote control so I can hit play every time it goes to pause. I can’t go back to my sticks because they asked me to remove some programs but no matter how many programs I deleted, it still asked me to delete more. This is why I am so disappointed with the fire tv cube.
