Fire TV cube with Alexa has been a extremely helpful in my household. My boyfriend is quadriplegic and is unable to manipulate the the remote control. Alexa has increased his independence and enjoyment by being able to change shows and listen to music as he wishes.

We’ve been using our Fire Cube for a few weeks now and absolutely love it! Turning on the tv and other devices is as easy as saying a command when you’re too lazy to look for the remotes! Glad we picked up 2!

Our tv remote was broken. We tried to buy this how it works with our tv. We have Sony old tv. When we turn on tv by this. It works but opposite didn’t work. I don’t know what problem is. But we still keep this. It’s good. Sometime pick diffrent room sound though.

What’s not to love?! It’s Alexa! Great quality, quick response, helpful, fun, and easy to use. Setup was quick and easy, and I highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their tv watching and listening experience.

I up graded from the first generation firestick. It seems to be working ok. I have installed several apps like i had on the first gen firestick and seems to preform better. It heats up like the firestick did but not as hot. When it heats up i just put a fan on it much like a laptop or computer. It needs air.

I love this! It’s so convenient to tell Alexa to watch whatever show and to have the device turn on the TV, tune to Hulu (or wherever), and play the show. My wife and I use ours in the bedroom but will probably get one for the living room too.

Overall this product does what it says, so pleased about that. I would like to see more devices work with the Amazon/Alexa service, this would make this an amazing device. Voice only controls work great and it is nice to see my security cameras (Arlo) this way! Next step is for Alexa to be more intuitive.

I love the fire TV cube. Great for streaming in 4K quality on a 4K tv . Plus it’s hands free with built in Alexa. Ask Alexa to turn on tv without remote and ask for Netflix and then the show of your choice.

She needs to learn your voice and commands. You also need to learn how to speak to her. She convenient when you cant find the remote. Make sure you have good signal wifi for her. Picture is clear cuz of the 4k. She is an AI, so she messes up. Sometimes starts speaking when we didnt say her name.

We were skeptical about the need for Alexa integration, but it really is quite useful. As a bonus, we gave our old Echo Dot to a child. This box is now our main go-to for streaming.

Our entire house is outfitted with Amazon/Alexa devices (two Echo Shows and several Echo Dots). We wanted to be able to use the Fire TV Cube but ended up returning it. A few reasons: (1) there’s a known glitch with Sonos systems. The Alexa voice is INCREDIBLY loud (like full volume loud) when it plays through Sonos, even if you’re listening at a reasonable volume. This was seriously problematic when our young son was in bed and we were trying to watch TV. So if you have a Sonos home theater system, I would most definitely NOT recommend the Fire TV Cube. (2) The voice commands for services like Netflix and Hulu need to have more of the bugs worked out. In theory, it would be amazing to control my TV with voice commands, but it was so frustrating to try and make it work that we just gave up. (3) It doens’t have the same functionality as other Alexa devices (ie, it can’t “drop in,” etc). Once they work out more of those issues, we may try again. For now, we’ve chosen to stick with our Apple TV.

I wanted to get away from the Comcast monopoly on cable so gave the Amazon Fire TV Cube a try. I get better picture quality than cable and so far with the apps, I have not missed an episode of the TV shows I watch. This is a GREAT alternative.

I have Apple TV and I think it’s so over priced. I love this one because it has such a reasonable price and works the same as the Apple TV only thing I see that’s different is that I can’t mirror my phone to the tv screen while my Apple TV can.

I got the cube to jailbreak it (not going to lie lol) and it works great. I have all channels like ESPN, HBO, Showtime, Food Network and more! I also have a crap load of movies, including the ones in the theaters with great quality. $75 is not a bad price as it plays in 4K as well

There is a slight difference between the cube versus an Echo + Firestick. The equipment setup process was very simple. I integrated it with my Sony Android TV and Yamaha MusicCast receiver. I can switch the FireTV, Blue-Ray, and Satellite (DirecTV) HDMI inputs easily with "Alexa, switch to [input]." From there, you can group the devices and be able to turn them all on or off ("Alexa, turn on Living Room"). As far as the 4k FireTV itself, I've had no buffering issues so far. It's nice that I could control the entertainment system from the kitchen while I'm cooking.

Awesome purchase for those that buy a bargain 4K TV that does not have a good app selection. The cube gives you access to all the best apps that Amazon has to offer and I prefer using the apps over my cable provider’s slow on demand feature.

We hooked this up with our Fire TV and it’s perfect! A little difficult to set up the “Alexa Turn on the TV” but it’s great when asking for simple things like volume and changing the channel.

Decided to get this for my husband as a gift. He loves it.!!! We turn the tv on off without looking for the controller . Checking the weather when we are busy getting ready for work and is pretty accurate. This makes a perfect gift .

We Love this product. I am so glad that we bought it it has made streaming so simple for someone that has never done it before. I love just telling Alexa what I need and she finds it. I would buy again for a family member. it makes a great gift.

Just hooked it up this weekend just beginning to use it have not decided if I really like it a lot believe it has some drawbacks I'm using with cable box but the more you said hopefully I will figure out issues that does not mean this product is bad just has a learning curve
