Suoer easy to use set up and enjoy. Only thing i wish is the the buttons were back lit. Oitside of that has to be one of the easiest ways to stream and navigate any tv or any smart tv. One stop shop.

Worth the Upgrade

With a improved remote and double the memory it was a no brainer. My old Firestick had been sidelined and I haven't looked back. No problems has popped up and it was easy to transition!

Fire tv and Alexa/echo device in one

It makes pausing easier for multiple viewers (which could be bad for some, I suppose), as well as resuming upon entering a room or fast forwarding without knowing where the remote is.

System is sometimes slow and needs a good restart. Have excellent 1 gig wifi so don't believe thats the issue. Other than that, great additional alexa device as well.

Going back to my Shield Pro 2019

It sends those formats as PCM stereo and reading forums it's been a problem since over a year ago. Weird that I don't recall my Fire Stick 4k Max having this problem. Surround output is way weaker than my Shield and needs read tuning levels when switching inputs. Prime app is worse than Google TV android app mainly because of seeking. You're either constantly moving forward or constantly moving back. There is not stop at key points with a preview like on every other android streamer. It's more powerful than the Nvidia Shield Pro 2019, but not better for my use. I swear I can't find a suitable replacement and it's been 5 years now.
