Started trying streaming devices just recently. The cube feels so far like a good combo of a well rounded smart streaming device with a HDMI input that turns it into a sort of receiver. Talking to Alexa through the cube is a fun addon.

So far its doing well. We just bought it so cant give a long term review on it.

Bought the fire cube in July of 2024. Shortly after it was past its returnable date unless I do the big inconvenient manufacture return it staryed doing weird glitch stuff like showing bright red static screen while then showing the actual picture then back to red static. It goes offline all the time and everytime it gets an updaye it forces a log in to all my streaming services saying it's a new device. My disneyplus.com has locked me out because it keeps seeing new device every couple of weeks to which I have to call disneyplus.com tech support to verify it's actually my cube in my home. Dont waste your money on this cube.

This works awesome, kids love it, I like coming in from work and Alexa doing all the work

The cube doesn't work nearly as well as the Firestick. Some applications do not integrate well. Icons on side loaded apps are blank. It freezes occasionally and has to be restarted quite a bit. The speed and resolution, realistically, are about the same as the firestick, so, if you're not stuck on the "hey alexa" voice control feature, or absolutely need the extra memory, skip this device and keep the stick.

I like the voice activated part of it, software works mostly

I love it, much better than the first Gen. But it keeps losing connection with my tv! That is very frustrating! I returned it for a replacement and the second one is doing the same thing. I'm using a Samsung 4k tv and a Monster 4k cable.

Dealing with some glitches, such as two apps playing (one in background), and unable to close without rebooting. Was hoping this would be an upgrade from the fire stick but so far, no luck.

Makes my old TV work fine again. Nice options for watching movies etc.

Works great. Very fast and has plenty of hdmi ports which is nice. Eithernet is also directly made on the unit.

A bit slow on the internet. For what it is it is ok.

Have to say this is disappointing. There are annoying audio syncing issues, which Amazon is aware of. But their method of fixing it is kind of bizarre and it doesn't work anyway. The strangest part is that the audio sync problem is only with Amazon Prime videos. All the other streaming apps work fine. The other issue is I'm using it to control my TV, receiver, and satellite box, but everytime I tell it to turn on the TV it goes straight to Fire TV instead of the satellite. Very annoying and difficult to fix. They have their own "live tv" option which is even worse. I can't get rid of that, it's an annoying button on the remote. The worst of all is the picture quality isn't as good as Chromecast or the apps on my Samsung TV. I kind of want to return this but I'll keep trying. It's only been a month, maybe it will get better. Overall it's a bummer.

Very unsatisfied with the picture quality. I also have Roku on the same TV and the picture is outstanding. With the Cube the pic is snowy on some channels. Same channels on Roku, no problem.

Works well. Fast interface and I love the fact that it can store more apps.

Decent. I don't use the voice remote. Works good for Amazon products.

I really appreciate the extra storage on this Fire TV Cube compared with a Fire TV Stick. Excellent product.

Really enjoying this product, the speed is great. I have two of them, and will be purchasing another one.

1. my excitement to upgrade from Amazon Fire Stick 4k to CUBE, ended in COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT. Better stick to STICK and save yourself lots of money. 2. BEST BUY is NOT customer friendly. Their return policy is ruthless and unfriendly. So, avoid both the Fire TV Cube 3rd Gen Streaming Media Player with 4K Ultra and BEST BUY

Great product!!! Easy to setup and had a great 4k picture on my TV!!!
