    This product is GARBAGE. ONLY the Prime video app works. Every other 3rd party streaming app that I downloaded had audio sync issues. After spending 5-10 minutes fiddling with the sync controls you can get it almost perfect but as soon as you turn off the cube all of your settings are lost. All of the 3rd party apps are noticeably dimmer/darker than the Prime app or the same 35d party app running on my 5 year old Roku stick. This is supposedly WiFi 6e but running speed tests from the cubes own menu show that the best I could get on WiFi is 91 mbps which is slower than its pathetic 100 mbps ethernet port. Updates to the cube's firmware fail 90% of the time. When you can get the updates to work they don't fix anything. Did I ,emtion the nonstop barrage of Amazon ads getting pumped onto my screen? Don't spend money on this. Buy a new Roku or Apple TV box instead. I promise you will be much happier. I'm going to see if I can return this and if not, it will be more e-waste in the landfill.

    The RJ45 port is only 100mbs, slow in terms of todays standard, also locked up all the time. I returned and got a google TV streamer with 1000mbs port.

    Bought the fire cube in July of 2024. Shortly after it was past its returnable date unless I do the big inconvenient manufacture return it staryed doing weird glitch stuff like showing bright red static screen while then showing the actual picture then back to red static. It goes offline all the time and everytime it gets an updaye it forces a log in to all my streaming services saying it's a new device. My disneyplus.com has locked me out because it keeps seeing new device every couple of weeks to which I have to call disneyplus.com tech support to verify it's actually my cube in my home. Dont waste your money on this cube.

Your device is functioning in a way that none of our Fire TV Cubes are supposed to. I know you mentioned that you are currently out of the exchange policy with Best Buy so I would recommend contacting Amazon Customer Support at 888.280.4331 for additional troubleshooting if you haven't already as there are a few troubleshooting steps they may recommend that could resolve your issue. They can also discuss what options are available to you otherwise. A typical software update (which we do to ensure that you have the latest patches for resolving any glitches and continuously improve upon your experience) should not require you to log back in to your apps and services every time.     Like most things made by Amazon, it’s so so. All their stuff is cheaply made and only seems to work good for a week before bugs crashing and lagging occurs.

    Very unsatisfied with the picture quality. I also have Roku on the same TV and the picture is outstanding. With the Cube the pic is snowy on some channels. Same channels on Roku, no problem.

    Thought this had some extra features that a regular firestick didnt have, unless Im using it wrong dont really see a difference. Just stick with a firestick.

      Restart your Fire TV Cube.
      Clear app data for Fire TV Cube apps.
      Restart your home network devices (for example, modems and routers).
      Connect to Ethernet with the included Ethernet-adapter if possible.
      Use a High-Speed HDMI cable for streaming titles in 4K Ultra HD.
