I need to start by saying I'm not an expert nor this is a sponsored review. I'm just a regular customer who want to watch something after a long work-day or have a family time watching a movie on Saturday evenings. This Fire TV Stick HD is perfect for my old 43" Sony Bravia. I guess I could have picked a more expensive model with higher features, but for me, it wouldn't justify it (As I says, casual use, nothing fancy) I must say.. the IMAGE QUALITY is pretty GREAT for a low-budget device. It was easy enough to be installed and set up, without the frequent cable mess you need to work on with other model that require a power adapter (this model juice up with a USB port on your TV, so all the mess stays out of sight) I don't even use the TV remote anymore, since I turn it on and off, change volume etc. directly on my Fire remote. I've had it for a couple months now and so far, so good. I hope my honest and straight-forward opinion helps you decide whether this is the right choice for you. It totally was for me!!

I had an older tv that wasn't a SmartTV at all. So took the chance to buy this Amazon Firestick and see if it would work. Let's just say...I'm glued and truly delighted. Able to set up with ease and I believe that's also I have another firestick on another tv in the home. But either way, I highly recommend it. I got rid of cable awhile back and never looked back. So this is the answer to many of you that may not have updated your tvs. In this economy, its costly in many areas. However, paying $22 and some change is wayyy better than paying for some expenses and luxuries and still enjoying time at home or wherever you may be. Love it!!!!

It's basically a ROKU stick but the software / app isn't as good. Pushes Amazon services HEAVILY. It constantly asks if it can use my info "to help customize my experience". Any app other than Amazon Prime has a little tiny icon that you have to navigate to. It's OK. I bought it because it was on sale. It does the job but when I compare it to ROKU - I like the other service better.

Convenient that it is powered by the tv, and installation only took a few minutes. I got one for each of the tvs in the house. They have only been installed about a week, and so far so good.

Purchased to have access to a morning show on the day of broadcast because hills preclude antenna access. Unfortunately the morning show is rebroadcast the following day, so we have to wait a day for that news etc. Otherwise the stick works great.

I purchased a firestick because I was having a hard time with my roku smart TV not operating correctly due to my condo being a condotel it didn't integrate with the splash page from the condo wifi. The firestick was the perfect solution. I was able to login and bypass the splash page. If you are having similar issues I would highly recommend it. It was easy to install and I have no more issues with dropping wifi. I am very happy with my purchase.

Couldn't be happier with my new fire stick and I'm so thankful the young man told me I can plug in my old plug to it and now it works beautifully

The firestick I purchased is amazing. No more high cable bills. You can get all the apps you need on here. Whether movies, games or music it has it all!!!

Works ok, you can not side load this type of fire stick.

Thus fire stick works very well with my tv. I have several fire sticks for all my tvs. They make the watching of my aps easy.

Up to date version of the Fire stick. Has a button to start You Tube.

Easier and smoother to navigate all apps and local tv. Great quality in picture too.
