    I was hoping that replacing my 1st Gen Fire TV Stick with this new 3rd Gen would fix the small issues I had with the 1st Gen. Nope. Still had to tweak the sound settings to keep the audio from jumping out of sync and still have to clear notifications regularly or expect extra glitching. It ultimately still does what it's supposed to do and works well as my bedroom TV streaming hardware - but it would have been nice if Amazon had stepped up these units just a little more than adding some direct app buttons to the remote.
