I made my best friend buy this Amazon Fire TV Stick. He is the type of person who limps along dealing with old technology. I have a Fire TV Stick attached one of my smart TVs and demonstrated how easy it is to set up and use. You see, my friend has an old 1080p Samsung dumb TV, and since he cut the cable cord he has been using a tablet to watch his paid subscription Apps. Now he has transferred all of his subscriptions to his Fire TV Stick which is attached to his Samsung dumb tv and now he is enjoying his old Samsung tv with the Amazon Fire TV Stick plugged into it. He really likes it, I must say.

Great for having you favorite streaming aps at your fingertips. Control is easy to use no confusing buttons. Easy setup. I purchased one for each one of our tvs. Inalso purchased onw for my mom. She always complains that she hates the contolls with all the buttons. So this is perfect for her.

Easy installation and setup. Nearly every channel you could want plus streaming service apps to fill in any gaps. In fact, it was this product that gave me the confidence to drop all my cable tv services after having already dropped my internet service with the cable company. If you want to dump cable tv do yourself a favor and get an Amazon Fire TV stick (several models to choose from). I liked this one so much I bought the Fire TV 4k Max for the other tv. You are required to open an Amazon account if you don't already have one, but if you have an Amazon account and are a Prime member setup is even easier and there are a good many perks. Best choice as an alternative to cable.
