Unfortunately I was past the “exchange window” at Best Buy and had to call Amazon. Amazon did replace the remote for free and I have had it for 2 weeks now and so far have not changed the batteries!

It is actually much easier using the Fire Stick for the apps than the TV.

Works great with many 3rd party services

Try using 2.4 or 5ghz and see which one is better. Also periodically check for updates. And I feel works great when I restart the device each week.

Good if All You Watch is Prime Video

Remote is very good and Alexa functionality is a benefit. The Roku interface is superior unless the only thing you watch is Amazon Prime or you prefer talking to Alexa for navigation through the menus. I’m keeping the Firestick as a backup, but the Roku Has a better interface and will be my primary streamer while traveling.

My only thing is that you want to make sure your "older" tv's can use it. Bought one for a tv that is about 6 years old and it's already outdated for use of this device.
