First of all, I rarely review any item good or bad but this is such a great product I had to share my thoughts. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS Fire Stick!!!! I have had several TV boxes in the past and none compare. Actually just sent one back yesterday. This is so user friendly – no goofing around with downloading content from repositories needing to make sure you have the URL correct. Eliminates the guess work. Excellent speed test results even with using tablets at the same time

Excellent purchase.. you get alot of entertainment for the investment. I was actually so upset at myself for not making this purchase earlier. I don't even have a smart TV! Unnecessary! It's a smart TV now! The voice control feature on the remote is certainly a plus when you have limited time and just your movie quick, fast and in a hurry. It would certainly make a fine gift for anyone on your list. I am more than satisfied this purchase and highly recommend it.

I love the Amazon Fire sticks. It does not take me lone to learn how to work it, even with my non techy self, lol. I like having all my apps and shows in one place and don't have to switch back and forth from tv remote to Fire Stick remote. You can just use the Fire Stick remote for everything. The price is a great value for everything you get to do with it. I also recommend getting it to everyone I know.

I was a little confused at first. First time streaming anything. But, once we got it figured out, it's been great. I don't have to pay for boxes monthly that this firestick is taken care of now w/just one time price. Glad I tried since I've got 5 TV's

I purchased this so I could stream movies on the different apps and it makes watching tv without cable great. I also like the Alexa voice because it helps find shows or apps I am looking to watch. I can also power tv off and on, and control the volume so this version is better than the original one

I love the Fire TV Stick. I already had the Apple TV but I wanted to eliminate having so many wires and cords and this was the perfect solution. I can use my current "dumb" tv and plug the Fire TV Stick into it and I can enjoy all of my favorite shows and streaming services. I can even watch previous movies or shows I purchased with my Apple TV account because it allows you to download that app. Whenever I can't find the remote Alexa turns my tv on and I can watch anything I want just by saying it out loud. I love that I can travel with my Fire TV Stick and enjoy tv whenever I am not at home. I have a lot of health issues and have to be hospitalized often and now I never have to be without my favorites: Netflix, Hulu and YouTube. The only minor downfall I can really think of is that new FireTV account holders does not allow Spectrum TV customers to stream their tv plan and only previous fire tv account holders can keep that feature because it's grandfathered in. If you decide to buy the Fire TV Stick you would just have to download each tv channel app whenever you want to watch a tv show or movie when it actually airs on tv or else you have to wait until the next day to catch on Hulu. Personally, I don't mind waiting until the next day because I HATE watching commercials.

The process of transitioning from an old fire stick to the new one is incredibly seamless with this remote. It's user-friendly and straightforward, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to upgrade their streaming experience. I would highly recommend this remote to anyone in the market for a switch.

I'm not sure why I waited so long to purchase the fire stick. It has been great to watch movies, sports and live tv shows without cable. The fire stick was a breeze to set up and easy to use. I purchased a second one for another tv. The pictures are crystal clear with HD. The sound quality is also great I added a sounder for movie effect while watching movies. I could not be happier with the purchase.

I bought this so that I could utilize the Xbox app feature, was pleasantly surprised as I was streaming game pass playing games online and able to connect my Xbox remote to the fire stick via Bluetooth, maybe not for every game but I noticed very little latency.

My wife absolutely loves the circular control feature on the remote. The menu is user friendly and there is no lag time. I haven’t had to reset it once so great experience so far.

SPEED- This is the biggest upgrade if in my opinion if you are coming from a 2nd generation device. The specs mention that this 3rd generation is “50% more powerful,” and you can definitely tell the difference in navigating menus and loading applications. This is probably the biggest reason to upgrade from Gen 2. DOLBY ATMOS – This might not be a big deal for many people, but support for the Dolby Atmos specification is nice for audiophiles with home speaker systems that can make use of it. REMOTE – As I mentioned in my review of this new remote, the main additions are the “Channel Guide” button, that brings up the menu to watch live TV if you have that set up; and the four App Buttons- for quickly launching Prime Video, Netflix, Disney Plus, and Hulu. The remote also allows control of your TV through power and volume buttons that are not available in the FireTV Stick Lite. CONS: NO 4K- This version does not support 4K video streaming, and I wouldn't imagine that it will be supported in the future either, because there is a FireTV Stick 4K product that exists if you want that feature. That FireTV Stick 4K is still shipping with the older 2nd generation Alexa Voice Remote currently though, (the one with a TV power button but no app buttons or channel guide button), so that's kind of disappointing. All in all, this to me is worth the upgrade from and older FireTV Stick, mainly because of the speed difference but also the newer remote is nice to have. If 4K matters to you, you might want to wait and grab the FireTV Stick 4K version when they eventually start shipping it with the new Gen 3 remote. The Lite version doesn't really seem like it would be worth it in most situations, because for only $10 less you lose Atmos support and all of the TV controls (power, volume, channel guide, app buttons, etc)

Seems like fire stick is getting better and better especially with his new updates in the remote control is better and everything is awesome the picture quality is great can’t go wrong with this fire stick who needs cable anymore get a fire stick ha ha
