I brought this because I needed all of the channels due to me cutting the cord from the expensive cable companies. Glad I did because I am glued to the tv because of this fire stick.

Our devices are not designed to only last a certain amount of time. We hope every customer gets more than their money's worth from every device they purchase. We do have numerous updates that we push to devices to ensure they have the latest features and interface and sometimes older devices may not have the compatibility or processing power for some of the latest updates as happens with all tech that receives over the air updates.
