Factory resetting it fixed it but the moment I installed 2 apps, it started giving me the same issue. I never give products under 4 stars if I ever review but this is so frustrating. Thought it was a storage issue but I only used like 40% of the storage. I've followed every other "fix" online and nothing seems to permanently stick.

Here are a few additional steps to try that will hopefully fix your Fire TV Stick from running slow: Clear the app data and cache. 1. Go to Settings on your Fire TV. 2. Select Applications. 3. In Manage Installed Applications, select the app you are having trouble with. 4. Select Clear Cache, and then Clear Data. You can also try to uninstall unused apps. 1. Go to Settings on your Fire TV device. 2. Select Applications. 3. Select Manage Installed Applications. 4. Select the app you want to uninstall, and then Uninstall. 5. Follow the on-screen instructions. Lastly, make sure your Fire TV is running latest software updates: 1. Go to Settings on your Fire TV. 2. Select My Fire TV. 3. Select About. 4. I ordered it as a customer car side pick up but was told at time of pick I had to go in and get which was no big deal. The negative was there was limited staff so it was a bit of a wait but nothing too horrible, just longer than expected.
