Posted .Hi SandipM, I'm really sorry your Fire TV Stick Remote keeps disconnecting, let's try the following:
Replace the batteries in your remote.
Move your remote closer to your Fire TV Stick, within 10 ft (3 m).
Restart your Fire TV Stick.
Unplug the power cord or adapter for three minutes and then plug it back in.
If the issue persists, try the following:
Remove the batteries from your remote, wait 30 seconds and then press and hold the home button.

The remote is cumbersome to use, not easy. When you want to return to previous page it takes you all the way out and you have to start all over. There are no instructions on how to best use this device efficiently.

I did want to address a couple items that may assist you in your use of your new Fire Stick. Firstly, while there are a number of services through 3rd party app developers that require a subscription and even our own Prime Video Channels require subscriptions for many of the services, there are a wide range of other free services available as well such as Local News, FreeVee, Pluto TV, Music Videos, etc amongst many others, as well as some additional programming for customers who are already Amazon Prime subscribers such as Prime Video and Amazon Music. As for navigating the menus, the arrow that loops away from the Home button is the Go Back button that will take you back to the previous screen you were on in most screens and services while the Home button just takes you directly back to the Home Menu. Lastly, you can find some additional instructions and FAQs on our website under Device Support and you can always consult Amazon Customer Support at 888.280.4331. Should not be that difficult to setup

Challenging to setup with non-smart TV. Took over 10 attempts to connect to TV and internet. Usually, this is a seamless process, Exchanged battery, switched port. Had to reset and power up TV numerous times. Should not be that difficult to setup with WIFI and TV.

Worst streaming device on the market.

I purchased this for one of my clients that likes to use Alexa commands to change channels on YouTube TV. Four months after purchase it stopped responding to voice commands. I searched Amazon's website and it said these units had a one year warranty. I got on chat with Amazon customer service agent Ntando. Ntando refused to acknowledge the unit had a one year warranty. Ntando changed his mind several times, saying the warranty was 30 days then 90. He seriously had no clue. After an hour wasted on chat he offered $3 to trade the unit in and 15% off a new one. What a joke. Buy a Roku instead.

SLOW and Remote’s broken

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We have another fire stick and it works perfectly fine, after having this one for a month, the remote completely quit working, tried new batteries and tried all the tricks to “repair” it with the stick, no luck. The blue light doesn’t even light up on the remote anymore. Have to use my phone to get it to work for my kids, but it’s SUPER SLOW at loading anything, and if I leave the remote screen on my phone to do something else, it makes me reconnect, and most of the time I have to completely unplug the fire stick from the wall, plug it back in, then it takes forever to load back up again. Would not purchase this again! It’s currently been about 5 weeks since we purchased it, and of course we can’t return it now.
