    I have an older 720p TV I use this on that I watch standard definition TV on. I didn't need the 4K version but I wish I would've bought that one instead. This version constantly freezes or delivers a scrambled picture. I have to unplug and plug it back in at least once a day. Such a hassle..

    Product document says that fire stick will control the samsung tv volume, it does not. That is a problem for me, because the samsung tv infrared receiver for remote control has failed. I was depending on the fire stick, very disappointed !!

    It was good until I switched "INTERNET" provider.Now all movies will cut off several times and go to the "FIRSTICK" image.

    Had to return one, the one i had before, Youtube didn’t want towork, then Netflix stop working. Hopefully the new one got dorsnt do the same.

    This is an updated review of this product. I have had this for three months and it worked great with no lagging. Suddenly, it is unable to update and shows an error message. There should be no problem with a product that had minimal usage.

      2. Use the power cable and adapter included with your Fire TV device. If you lose your Fire TV device power cable or adapter replace them with Amazon branded equipment to ensure compatibility.
      3. Unplug the power cord from your device or wall outlet for several seconds then plug it back in.
      4. Press the source or input button on your remote and ensure your TV input matches the name or number of the HDMI port your Fire TV is plugged into (often located on the back of your TV).

    Flawless performance from both the Fire Stick and the remote. Straightforward to add apps and to use (elderly parents have had no trouble accessing everything they want), and no problems of any kind so far. We were a little worried by some of the reviews about glitchy streaming and awful battery life with the remote, but we haven't had any issues. Our experience so far (about a month) has been outstanding.

    I think my fire stick is defective. The power cable doesn’t work when connected to the TV. The YouTube app doesn’t work it continues to buffer. It’s not my internet connect Because The Amorim Prime app works perfect

    I have only had this remote for a year and the power button and the volume button are not working anymore. I changed the batteries and reset the remote, no help. Do not wast your money.

      Hi hump, I am very sorry to see the experience you are having with your Alexa Voice Remote and Fire TV Stick. Here are some troubleshooting tips that may steer you in the right direction.

      Try using your remote between each step.

      Replace the batteries in your remote. For best performance, alkaline batteries are recommended.
      Move your remote closer to your Fire TV device, within 10 feet (3 m).
      Restart your Fire TV by unplugging the device or going to Settings. Once you're on the home screen, press and hold the Home button on your remote for 10 seconds.
      If you have seven controllers paired, remove one of them before attempting to pair another.
      Use the Fire TV app to pair your remote. Download the Fire TV app on your mobile device and follow the steps in Use the Fire TV App to Pair Your Remote.

    Fire TV Stick did not last long b4 it stopped working. Luckily, I dropped by the store and y’all had an extra remote control in a basket. Took it home and it worked. P
