GV's Firestick that fizzled!

I purchased the Firestick so that my Echo Dot could control my smart amp, my smart t.v, my I-Tunes and my other Alexa devices. That is what the folks at Amazon said I needed, a "Firestick"; however after I purchased it and brought it home, connected everything and called the folks at Amazon, they explained that it would not work. I would need a smart Amp. that allows you to use both Wi - Fi and Hard Wired connections simultaneously. Oddly enough that would have meant buying an Amazon Smart Amplifier.

It is being used in a spare guest room.

I purchased the tv and firestick on the same day. I never connected the firestick until 2 days ago. I haven't had the product for 90 days. I haven't had it for a month and when i went on the BB app it says the firestick isn't returnable. I mean, can I at least exchange it? I feel like BB sold me a faulty product on purpose. The tv I purchased comes with preloaded apps but they load kind of slow so that's why I purchased the firestick. It's complete garbage. 100% NOT SATISFIED WITH THE FIRESTICK!!

A little frustrating changing channels. Using with dish app. Must channel select from guide no up and down select. Great for remote tv using apps.
