Also allows me to screen my computer screen on to my tv monitor (I don't have a smart tv), which is very helpful. It was an easy set up & everything seems to work very easily & I haven't had any glitches yet.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow I always thought since this is like $30 it will run as fast as my smart tv apps nope this thing is just as fast as Apple TV which cost over $170 everything is pretty fast and smooth pictures are obviously 4k on 4k TVs so you are getting 4k if you have a 4k tv 10/10 for $30 not bad at ALL!

not great, but cheaper than paying for cable

I don't remember when I purchased the first one, this will the 3rd one that I have to buy just for my tv, not to mention the other tv's. both my girls have fire TV's and I have replaced each of those once. I keep replacing them only because it is cheaper than paying for a subscription cable service, this is the only reason I am giving it 4 stars because of the cost savings.

Great improvement over the old model

This 4K model works great - everything goes smooth and fast. It does not matter whether I hook it up with a 4K TV or not. However, it works great with 4K TV, especially watching sports.

Better than buying a new tv

We have a semi smart tv but only could access Netflix and prime. Rather than purchasing a newer tv we got a fire stick and it definitely does the job. Now we can access all the apps we would like.

I cut the Cable, and not looking back!

Easy to set up, and navigate! Now I have all the channels I watch and stopped paying for the ones never watched. Have one plugged into every one of my TVs in the house! Cut the cable, & Keep the internet as the firesticks require a wifi connection.

Few firmware updates but it’s all good. Good way to cut cables. I take it for short and long trips to keep up with my shows.

It was easy to set up, no glitches at all. There are free apps to choose from along with subscription apps if you wish to pay a monthly fee. The Fire TV Stick is free to use with the free apps, no monthly fees.
