This new 4K Fire TV stick was purchased to replace a first generation Fire TV stick. The first gen stick had become very slow and so when these went on sale at Best Buy, I quickly snatched one up in the hope it could speedily handle current streaming requirements. I was not disappointed. It is very fast and smooth. Picture quality, being 4K on certain streams, is superior -- sharp and clear. I use it on a daily basis and would recommend it without reservation.

We have tried other smart devices however, once we used the Amazon, Firestick we finally understood the love of the "App TV" experience. Amazon has taken this a step further with their new Firestick by updating their software making it 4K compatible, adding volume keys for ease of use. That is right on e less remote you have to keep track of. We enjoyed this new Firestick so much we have already purchased a second. What are you waiting for, go get yours.

Ive bought several Amazon 4k Ultra Firesticks for my family and friends.They make great gifts and the picture is in a beautiful format.The Alexa voice remote makes looking up or searching for movies totally headache free..The kids learned to operate the firestick quickly and are able to play games and watch videos all in one place!# i totally recommend one..

Firestick is easy to use. Only a minimal number of buttons. That's good. But it has all the functions that we normally need/use. And it was not expensive. (Prior to this we used the controller on our son's Xbox to control the TV. This is SO much better.)

I am amazed at how simple it was to setup. And it provides great quality streaming. Its a bonus that I can control TV/soundbar volume using the remote and also turn off TV using this. (since my TV remote is broken). Wierdly, the TV control stopped working one fine day and I could not make it to work. A few days later TV control started working again. I wonder if amazon installed some update that fixed it.

Set up was easy. 4k a must. Great picture. Like that you can control television on/off and volume.

Love the Fire TV 4K stick! The clarity is amazing! I use it with my Alexa dot and it never fails. I can stream Amazon Prime perfectly and simply pause or rewind with the easy to use remote. It also has voice command which I love. Everything is categorized and easy to understand. Very user friendly even if you have no experience with streaming devices. I would definitely recommend this amazing little device. The picture quality is brilliant!

I was surprised how easy setup and installation was. It is a great 4K product and much cheaper the Apple TV 4K.

This is my second fire stick 4k, and I love the new modifications they've made specifically in the remote. With this you have next to no need for a TV remove anymore because this can turn the TV on and off adjust volume and mute. Set up is fast and easy once you have it hooked to the network it automatically updates everything which cam take a bit of time so expect to be sitting for a good 15 minutes while it performs required updates.

The fire stick works great, it is an easy set up. The 4 k version Is very clear. And it streams to program fantastic

I bought this to replace an older fire stick that just stopped working. I love it. So much faster than my older one. I thought that it was my internet before but it was clearly my fire stick just going bad. This is very easy to use and was quick to setup.

The 4k fire tv stick is a great streaming device compared to all other devices. The only device that performs better is the Nvidia sheild and the Nvidia sheild pro, but when taking into consideration the price of the three devices, the Fire tv stick is a much better purchase, for new comers and experienced streamers, and cord cutters alike. You will not regret purchasing this item for all of your streaming needs.

Purchased as an alternative to cable. Pros- The picture quality is great. It provides many free programs, and the set up was pretty easy. Cons-takes time to scroll through to find programs. However, I'm sure that once we adjust to this different format, It will not be a problem. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to cut the cable cord.

The Amazon - Fire TV 4k is so much better than previous models. My Samsung TV's respond much quicker and having only 1 device for everything is much easier. The only thing I do now is have 'back up' battery's! Moreover the Best Buy '4 Year Warranty' is icing on the cake!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love the 4k fire stick its pretty much the same as Apple TV but cheaper. You can download whatever app you want if its available in the amazon store. So you can select which network channels or games you want to have or your fire stick. Quality of image is great because it has 4k capability as well it has to do with your tv and is the show or app has 4k as well. Love that the control can turn on/off the tv and fire stick as well as the volume control.

The 4K fire stick provides a great picture. Easy to use. Easy to setup. Connects to home WiFi perfectly.

I have an older smart TV which has just a few apps, and no provision for adding apps that aren't in its limited database. This firestick solved that problem nicely, and I now have a huge range of free programs, news, movies, etc. This would be an excellent addition for a non-smart TV, as long as it has an available HDMI input, though the 4K version is probably more horsepower than needed. The biggest drawback is that, unlike my cable provider, I can't look ahead several days and find future programs, nor can I record programs which are running when I'm away. If there's a way to do that, instructions as well as links to device(s) needed should be supplied with the firestick. I like how all the equipment can be linked to turn on when I turn on the firestick.

Absolutely phenomenal product. It plugged in with ease even to the 42 inch samsung TV from 2008 she kept in her grandmother's archaic living room that even her grandma wouldn't live in, and even after we lost the remote in the broken, hole filled couch we could still use it with the apps on our phones. It had every app under the sun, and despite the power going out during every storm and every time a tractor trailer rolled by a bit too fast on the tourist highway next to the house, it held up extremely well. With it being a small device without a fan, it did get pretty warm when the ac stopped working, but during the winter when the heating oil ran out in with a -10° wind-chill it felt about average temperature. Also because of it's design, we could wipe off the dust from the manure filled fields surrounding the house and cat hair that caked on about a week after getting 3 cats, without it affecting performance. A+ product for any lifestyle choice, but probably a better idea to get 2 and hide one for later so that you don't have to worry about not having tv streaming services for three months while you save up to buy a new fire stick.
