12-yr old TV feels new again!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a 12 year old 60" Pioneer Elite Plasma TV which other than the still-rocking image, was starting to feel old, when compared to today's smart TV's. This Fire stick has made the TV awesome again. The TV's not 4K, but I bought the 4K Stick anyway... My guess is that less than 1% of today's programming is 4K, but that's besides the point. Trust me, these streaming players will make your older TV ROCK! I was surprised at the ease of setup, including controlling the TV from the Stick. Buy it!

Doesn't Place Nice With Alexa
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would have expected Alexa to recognize another Amazon product, but about 33% of the time my Echo won't do any of the things you're supposed to be able to do. It seems less useful at night, so maybe too many other users? Other than that, the remote works well and it does turn on my tv and sound bar.

Cable should be abolish !

There is no need to keep paying exuberant amounts to cable companies. Just pay for internet and use this baby. Recommended to have Amazon prime to watch lots of free movies. I don't know what's the difference by only having a regular Amazon account.
