So Far So Good

Set-up was relatively easy once we were able to open the battery compartment which was fused to the stick and the correct TV was identified in order to control the TV. For some strange reason the battery compartment door would not slide out and required being pried open which eventually was accomplished. Then, the stick selected the wrong TV--LG not Samsung and as a result would not pass the volume test and control the TV. Eventually, it gave us the option to check the TV and once we corrected the TV, everything seems to work fine on the TV. The Alexa voice-remote works fine. We haven't used it much as it is on a spare TV and in place of having to pay a monthly charge to a cable/satellite company for a TV that\'s hardly used. I think this is a great alternative for that and highly recommend it.

Improvement from Previous Fire Sticks

I haven't used the Voice control yet so I can't review that feature, but the set up for this generation was a breeze. It picks up my WiFi signal better than previous Fire Stick generations, and now it fairly automatically syncs with my TV's soundbar (select Soundbar and the Brand and it synced by itself). As someone who only begrudgingly replaced my old Fire Stick, I now wonder why I waited so long to upgrade.
