Great streaming service stick that is held back by two things: The amount of hard drive space on it is terrible, Amazon should increase it or allow for a physical expansion because you will eventually have to redownload apps all the time to use them after setting up a pretty modest core suite of streaming apps, and if you actually play games on the thing it’s even worse. Amazon’s constant fighting with content providers. No HBO Max, no Peacock. They seriously need to stop it with trying to gouge out their own terms with these content providers. There are workarounds if you are technically adept but it’s annoying we have to jump through hoops for full access to content in order to remain in the Amazon ecosystem. Otherwise, it’s great and cheap.

Last year we decided to cut the cord, and after researching, we had settled on the Roku Ultra. Yes, it took some getting used to. Connection drops the main concern. After about a year, we decided we'd had enough, and switched to the Fire TV Stick. Same network, same everything. Network drops have decreased considerably. I recommend the Fire TV Stick over the Roku.

The fire stick work well. My tv was an older model that did not have youtube

I got this 14 months ago and suddenly stopped working, very low quality product. I have Roku stick for over 4 years and still works great. Only issue with Roku was, can’t install Kodi on it. Hence, I got a new one unfortunately from Best Buy. I found a cheaper price on their website after a week and hassle to get price match. More than a month now, still no help from Customer support. Now, I can’t return it. Don’t buy from Best Buy, if you can get it in other places, horrible customer support.
