The Alexis remote is pretty neat, too. We have an Apple TV elsewhere in the house and love it. But I wanted something for another room just for a few streaming options and didn’t need all the bells and whistles of Apple TV. This Firestick was an inexpensive alternative to Apple TV and works beautifully!

Roku has the easier interface & controls but Amazon is much more in depth. Plus I can put any app on this.. Only draw back is, no memory at all..

Buy this 4k over the 1080p.

Plus your able to turn volume up, down,mute. It also turns OFF your tv using the amazon controller.

Fast, the on/off to control TV, sound, and mute

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I found the new 4K (HDR) Firestick to function much better than the 2nd Gen Firestick. It downloads app pages much faster. And with the added on/off function of the TV, and controlling my surround system volume/mute, awesome. There are no special settings to get through to use those functions! I was using the Ethernet adapter on the 2nd Gen Stick, but found it useless to use with this Stick. It only caused interference problems and appears to only see WiFi. So I unplugged the adapter and went with just using the WiFi. The interference stopped and now it works great! Now to only get a 4K TV!

Better than the last generation

It Works

My daughter borrowed it and I never saw it again. I got the 4K model this time. It works well. I haven't had any problems with it. It was easy to install and set up. It was up and running in under 5 minutes. The 4k picture is awesome . I'm just waiting for more 4k content.

Amazon Fire Stick

They were easy to install, fast and stable with wireless internet and well priced. Best Buy @ BestBuy! No pun intended. lol

No issues

My TV is a 65" Samsung 4k Ultra UHD and the picture is already fantastic, so I can't tell the difference. This stick works as good as the original one so I can't complain. I never used the Alexa voice feature on the remote so I guess it works...

There is very little lag when switching between apps. Picture is great and it works very well with PlayStation Vue.

Make sure you have a 4K TV

Just make sure you have a 4K TV. It can’t magically turn your non-4K TV into a 4K TV.
