Much better than previous generations. I took a few years away from the Fire Sticks because I found them clunky and not very good. The 4K Max version is much more snappy and responsive. The picture quality and audio is good too. Great price as well. Would recommend to anyone in the Amazon ecosystem or just wanting a simple straight forward device!

Great deal. I recently picked up the Fire TV Stick 4K Max, and it’s definitely made a difference in my streaming setup. The installation was straightforward, and I was impressed by how quickly apps load compared to my old device. Watching shows in 4K has been a nice upgrade; the picture quality is sharp and vibrant. The Dolby Atmos sound adds a nice touch, making things feel more immersive during intense scenes. The Alexa remote is convenient, allowing me to search for content or control smart devices with just my voice, which I appreciate when I’m settled in on the couch. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max has been a solid addition to my home entertainment system, making movie nights more enjoyable.

We bought this item after our much older, less powerful, fire stick became unable to support all of the streaming services we use. This new 16GB fire tv stick has so far performed perfectly

A definite upgrade from the last one, a little faster and a little more memory, but they really need to label these better and change the naming. Just call them 1.0, 2.0, whatever but for crying out loud, year after year there is a new one but with the same name, so that if you use multiple ones through the house its hard to tell which is which. The user interface started out different than the previous, including a stupid login password change that let you kids end up seeing what you were putting in. But they changed it back (thank you Amazon). Kind of wish all the software engineers who design these would actually know how they are used.

Just upgraded from 1st generation 4k firestick and what a huge difference.. #1 much more memory for all your favorite apps. #2 Quick and snappy #3 Wifi 6 really helps cause I've always had issues with getting proper signals. #3 Xbox available with just pairing your Xbox or PS5 controller and it's that simple. What more can you ask for...

Went camping in a campground that had Wi-Fi but no cable tv. Purchased two of these fire sticks and used campground Wi-Fi. Worked great.

Either Amazon Fire or Roku, both deliver and do it well. Was very impressed by how easy this was to adapt to our HDTVs in our house. Works really well, and easy to install.
