    Works great but still unable to cut the cord without paying for additional services. Still need cable for local channels. I bought a 4K TV and then the FireTV Stick 4K Max for better options. "Experience free and live TC without cable or satellite" I am finding is not accurate or in some cases the local feed (especially sports) is blacked out using apps.

    Worth paying the little extra for the Max version. We upgraded to this from a standard version Firestick from 4 or 5 years ago, and the decrease in input lag was beyond noticeable. Can also run simple game apps which our older Firestick was not able to run smooth enough to even enjoy at all.
