It's nice that it has additional storage space for the multitude of streaming apps available. My previous Firestick was almost full, and was getting bogged down, causing it to glitch. I have all my apps on the new one and still have more than half the space remaining.

Did t have that with previous editions. I wouldn’t recommend it as I can’t see any advantage over previous generations.

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max includes enhanced security features that may require additional authentication during initial setup, and the PIN you're encountering is likely related to parental controls or purchase restrictions that can be adjusted in Settings > Preferences > Parental Controls or Settings > My Account. Once configured, you shouldn't need to enter the PIN constantly during regular use. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max does offer advantages over previous generations including faster performance, Wi-Fi 6E support for improved streaming quality, and the Ambient Experience feature. If you're still experiencing constant PIN prompts after adjusting these settings, try restarting the device by unplugging it for 30 seconds. Thank you for sharing your experience, and I apologize for the frustration this has caused.
