Posted .Hi CUSTOMER, thank you for providing feedback on Fire TV Stick 4K Max. I am sorry to see that you have had difficulty with the remote control not responding. Given that this is your second remote control and the same issue, I would recommend the following steps: 1. Even if the batteries seem fine, try replacing them with new, alkaline batteries, as older batteries can cause issues. 2. Ensure the remote is within 10 feet of the Fire TV device, as distance can affect signal strength. 3. Confirm that previous remotes are not still paired to the Fire Stick, as this could also potentially cause issues. 4. Last but not least, ensure your Fire TV device and the Fire TV app on your mobile device are up to date. If you have tried these steps and are still having issues please contact the Amazon Devices Customer Support phone number at 1-888-280-4331. Thank you again, have a great day!
