    Not recommended because Wifi 6E upgrade is not worth it to spend extra $, better to buy regular 4k version

      Hello and thank you for your review and feedback on your Fire Stick 4K Max. I am sorry to hear that you think this is the worst Fire Stick as this is our flagship model. It is only $10 more and offers not only the WiFi 6E support as you stated but also has a faster processor than the 4K model, has double the storage, and also has Fire TV's Ambient Mode feature which offers 1500+ free images and artwork to be used in standby mode to turn your TV into a work of art, for example. It also comes with the Enhanced Alexa Voice Remote which has some extra button controls. While the 4K model is a fantastic choice for streaming platform, this model offers quite a bit more for a small increase in price.     Yes the 3 free items with purchase is misleading as this is not offered if bought in store. Also customer service was not helpful in resolving the issue so I will return the item.

    I bought two. My friend who has Direct TV tried to connect his and couldn't. We called Best Buy but the wind up was that we could pay to have a Best Buy rep come out and hook it up. I returned both. For people who know what they are doing with these items, I'm sure it's a win.

    The product itself is great hiwever my disappointment is with Best Buy, the item came with 2 free gifts which i did not get and when i rrached out to customer support i was not provided any help

    User Interface is not necessarily intuitive, coild not get access to the local channels without a subscription. Already have an Apple TV so did not need it at the end.

Once you register your Amazon Fire TV device and connect it to the internet, add the DIRECTV app. 2. Search for DIRECTV in the Amazon App Store. 3. Select Get to install the DIRECTV app. 4.     If im being completly honest this firestick is junk. Half the time it might play movies and the other half the movies will buffer. No its not my wifi because ive tested it and wifi is 600mbps.

Have you tried connecting to a different network like a mobile hotspot? Just questions to think about, lets see if I can help...
      Here are some troubleshooting you can try:
      -Check that your Fire TV is on the latest software version. To check for updates, go to Settings and then My Fire TV or Device & Software.
      -Restart your Fire TV. You can restart from Settings or unplug the power adapter for 1 minute, and then plug it back in.
      -Restart your modem and router. To restart your devices:
      Unplug your modem and router for 30 seconds.
      Plug in your modem first and wait for the lights to turn on and for it to connect to the internet.

    Went into loop after 3 weeks

    Worked great for 3 weeks then went into loop and wouldn't connect to remote. After hours of tech support Amazon replaced it under warranty. Best Buy refused to help because it was outside their 15 day return window.

    It doesn’t work….cannot get it hooked up to either of my TV’s that I tired keeps giving me an error message saying cannot update please unplug from power source and try again later.

      Hello TimC. I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with your Fire TV Stick 4K Max.
      When you start or stop streaming in 4K Ultra HD, your TV screen may flicker or turn black for a few seconds.

      * Restart your Fire TV device.
      * Use the connection equipment that came with your device.
      * Confirm that any A/V receivers or sound bars connected to your Fire TV are on the correct input. You can also connect your Fire TV device directly to your TV.
      * Disconnect your Fire TV from the HDMI port then plug it back in.
      * Try replacing your HDMI cable or HDMI hub (not included) with a new one.
      * Use a High-Speed HDMI cable (not included) for streaming titles in 4K Ultra HD.
      * Match your remote's source or input button to the HDMI port that your Fire TV is plugged into.
      * Turn HDMI-CEC Device Control off and then on again:
      Go to Settings on your Fire TV.
      Select Display & Sounds.
      Select HDMI-CEC Device Control to turn it off and then on again.
      * Cycle the available resolutions on your Fire TV device by pressing and holding the Up and Rewind buttons together for five seconds.
