I primarily bought this device for my projector, which lacks HDMI eArc. As a result, I had to use an HDMI Audio Extractor that supports both HDMI input and output (HDMI plus optical out). However, I encountered an issue with audio connectivity to my Chromecast, requiring manual connection to the SoundBar each time. But after connecting the Firestick to the HDMI Extractor, the SoundBar is now automatically detected, and everything works seamlessly!

I bought the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4k to use on my large-screen television that is not a smart TV. My Roku device stopped working, so I was advised to try a Fire TV stick. So far, it is is working well and connects to Netflix and Prime TV well. It is serving my purposes. I also bought a two-year warranty in case the product fails.

Turns any tv into a smart tv. My 7 year old Sony was having issues with the remote. installed this and no more issues with the remote. So spend $1000.00-$1200,00 on a new tv or use the Fire stick
