I haven't had quirky problems that I experienced with the Rokus I have used. Handling and operation of the remote would be better if it was a little larger, but overall it is the best I have used.

OK to navigate with remote. However, if you do not have the remote, it might be a bit hard to navigate the apps. Cons: Amazon is not vetting the apps well. I have the Willow app, that would get stuck with a blank screen. It was working when I installed it but then stopped working from second time onwards. I had to offload it and install again and it started working. Very frustrating as I only got the firestick for the Willow TV app.

If an app on the Fire TV Stick 4K isn't loading correctly, I first recommend making sure that the app is up to date with the latest software. If the app is up to date and you are still experiencing issues, I recommend clearing the cache of that app.
Go to Settings on your Fire TV.
Select Applications.
In Manage Installed Applications, select the app you are having trouble with.
Select Clear Cache, and then Clear Data.

My old one worked for many years, but got fried in an electrical storm. Now I have the new one on a surge protector. Looking forward to many more years with my new one.
