To fix a non-working Fire Stick remote, first try replacing the batteries with new AAA alkaline ones and restart your Fire Stick device. Then, re-pair the remote by holding the Home button for 10 seconds. For persistent issues, reset the remote by simultaneously holding the Left, Menu, and Back buttons for 12 seconds, then remove the batteries, plug the Fire Stick back in, and re-pair.

Has apps on it that some smart tvs may not have, like Twitch or Crunchy roll, wouldn’t really use it Xbox gaming, too laggy
