I don't watch hardly any movies. Mostly news, sports, documentaries and political shows and that's not what the stick was designed for. So I guess it works fine for it's purpose but for me the purchase was a necessary evil to get to my cable channels.

When I got it home, I found that there are some functions that I couldn't control (likely due to my TV being an older model), but it does control the power and volume, which is all I really needed. For the price and functionality, this model is hard to beat.
