The Amazon Fire Stick is a great inexpensive way to enjoy Amazon content and more. Yet its real value is in using Kodi. Kodi is a opensource program which makes the stick into a FULL media type TV box. You simply can't go wrong for less then $50.00. It takes a few minutes of work. Go on Youtube for instructional videos. The FS is a well made unit.

What attracted me to the Fire TV Stick was the the price. It can do everything other streaming sticks can do and more. It includes a remote which makes it easy for the parents and guest to operate.

Easy to setup and use. If you have Amazon prime, it's definitely worth it so you're getting the most out of your membership (prime video, music). Also makes access to Youtube and Netflix easy on your tv. Only downside is not having the flexibility to broadcast from your pc to your tv in the way you can with a Chromecast, but it's better than a Chromecast at the things it does do.

I already have an Amazon Fire Stick and it is so easy to use, I even put them on Smart TVs. This is my second one and I wanted to put it in our family room, so that had access to all my Amazon Prime information and Netflix, Hulu, just an amazing product. I have 2 of them, and I almost like them better than my Roku's. The Roku's win out just for the added functionality of the USB drive on them so I can stream my own movies and stuff, but this is an amazing product.

I own Google ChromeCast and Slingbox also, this wins hands down. It's smooth, never lags (problem with Chromecast). Love the user interface and setup was a breeze. This is one fine little piece of technology. I am also an Amazon Prime Member and that is just icing on the cake. Even if all I was going to use this for is Netflix, it's still the big winner.

I have owned Fire TV, apple tv, Roku 3, and chromcast. The best of all would be Fire TV, super fast and easy to use. Then I decided to buy this fire TV stick for another TV at home. It is much better than Chromcast. First, it has a remoter. Second, super fast as always. I'm also an Amazon Prime member, definitely enjoy the movies/songs it provided.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick is a perfect gift for anyone . Not only was it easy to install and learn how to use but its impressive amount of options such as movies, shows and games is amazing. This system also allows the user to download hundreds of apps and store them in a library. I would recommend the Amazon Fire Tv Stick for friends and family.

I have used the ChromeCast in the past and just switched to the Fire Stick. I like that it has its own remote and you don't have to use a phone, tablet or computer to control it. You don't have to turn on a plugin for each streaming app you want to use on a device. It is easy to set up and use. It has all the content I can get on ChromeCast and more.

I had a chrome stick which worked for a few months, but stopped working and I read reviews on this firestick. So easy to use and cheap. I love the voice command. You download the app and just say the tv program you are looking for and it appears on your tv screen. No searching and scrolling. It also has a remote control. Fantastic. Love it.

We have been amazon prime members for a few years now. We now own two of these! They’re so easy to use and love that movies are available at a quick touch of a button. In my sons playroom, we use it daily and for pretty much everything. The Hulu account, Netflix and amazon are all accessible through it. Love!!!

I read a lot of reviews about the Fire TV Stick before I purchased one. Most of them were gushing with praise, and they were right to do so. I am thoroughly enjoying my Fire TV Stick. Upon picking it up, I set it up (which was a piece of cake) and I started loading it with a few apps I wanted to use, all of which were free, installed quickly, and functioned very well. I will note that you need to have the Fire TV Stick plugged in to an outlet for it to work its best. Amazon provides you with a power cord that's a few feet long, so make sure that you will be able to feed it power. Nothing has gone wrong with the TV Stick, it's been easy to use, I've played some games with my family on it, watched Netflix, MLB.tv, and YouTube, and I've streamed music from Pandora. I love the Amazon FireTV Stick, and recommend it to everyone. Also, I highly recommend getting one if you have Prime, as they function well together.

I bought one during the $20 sale and it's been awesome! I thought it'd be slow and sluggish, but it's faster than my smart tv. I've considered buying a second one to use on my smart tv. The remote is AWESOME because it connects via Wi-Fi, meaning you can use it anywhere in the home (useful if listening to music, like Pandora and want to skip the song from another room). Screen mirroring, from my Note 3 has been awesome too. A big reason I went with the Amazon stick, over a Google Chromecast or Roku was because I like to watch movies and stuff when I travel. The Amazon stick is the only one out of the three that currently supports the ability to connect to a "public" wireless network. Like when you go to a hotel and it asks you to sign in through a web browser, the others don't currently support the option to access that type of wireless network. Just a minor thing to some, but a deciding factor to me. Worth every penny.

For the price you cant beat it. Compact . Easy to use.

This has quite impressed me as far as streaming sticks go, I've had the Roku and the Chromecast and neither of them are as fast as the Amazon one, and its quite easy to setup. Works great with Netflix and of course Amazon video and quite a few other channels. Full featured and at less than $40 it's priced properly in most anyone's budget.

I have a google chrome stick but got tired of the hassel of using my tablet as the remote controleverytime i wanted to watch netflix. I find the Amazon fire stick to be simple to use and the streamed picture is excellent. I like this so much better than the chrome stick that i gave the google chrome the boot and do not use it any more,

This is an excellent little device that does almost everything that I could ask it to. It plugs into an HDMI port on the TV as well as a wall socket for power (cable included). After setting up a Wifi connection and linking to your Amazon account, the rest is pretty seamless. It grants access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video, and a host of other video streaming options. Spotify is available through the Spotify Connect app, which requires you to log in from another device (phone, tablet, computer), which then streams the music through your TV. Additionally, there's a Fire TV app that allows you to control the stick through your phone if you so choose (particularly useful for text input). For those more technically inclined, sideloading APKs through ADB over wireless is pretty simple, and I was able to get Kodi (formerly XBMC) installed and running with minimal fuss. One of my favorite aspects of this, however, is how portable it is: I can toss it into a bag whenever I travel, and so long as Wifi is available, I have streaming video available on any TV I have access to, instead of having to watch it through a phone or tablet. A couple issues: app selection is limited to whatever Amazon deems acceptable through their app market. Easily overcome with sideloading APKs, but users shouldn't have to work through ADB to get access to apps they want. Secondly, the Second Screen feature (Miracast) is pretty neat, but buggy for me (using a Fire HDX, 3rd generation). Overall, this is a great, low-profile solution to get streaming services on your TV. The problems I've had are obnoxious, but minor, and would not prevent me from getting another one in the future.

I really like the Amazon Fire Stick. It was easy to install, actually nothing to it (I am very low tech). When I watch just part of a show it remembers where I stopped watching. The salesman recommended this product because you get the most viewing options. However, it seems like the majority of options are additional cost.

Shes a good little buy for streaming via hdmi port and a wifi signal alone. easy to plug in receiver it comes with a flexible hdmi 2inch extension. My android phone can control it as well as the remote. I can also travel with it witch is nice. The main bad side is that there is no way to connect an Ethernet wire if you want a faster hard wired connection. I have bought a wifi range extender to max out the signal. (i use it in a basement..)

I chose this for my aunt and uncle as well as my parents since I think it is easier to use as it comes with the remote vs having to use via your phone as with Chromecast.

Bought it instead of chromecast just for the fact that this comes with a dedicated remote and the chromecast you need to use a phone. You can still use your phone but I'd prefer a dedicated remote just in case my phone dies. I can watch my Netflix YouTube wwe and much more . very convient and for $40.00 you can't go wrong !!!!!:)
