Great way to inexpensively stream HD
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While I also have uVerse and an Apple TV box for NetFlix, Amazon Prime is much more amazing to stream to a HD TV. Worked great right out of the box. I plugged the HD extension adapter into the 4th HDMI port of my 5.1 receiver and get surround sound. (port 1 is DVD/BluRay, port 2 is uVerse, port 3 is Apple TV). Note that there is programming available on NetFlix or Apple that is not available on Amazon Prime and visa versa...

Don't find it to be user-friendly

The reason I gave it three out of five stars is it seems cumbersome to me. It isn't easy to figure out how to get from Point A to Point B. (It took me a while to even find Hulu Plus?!) But maybe that is the point, since they don't want the competition. I don't know....It serves it's purpose, but I like TiVO SO much better! If TiVO worked with my cable company, I would so much rather use that!

Best Streaming Device Available

Small, powerful with access to all major streaming services including Amazon Prime. There is also a TiVo app currently in beta that allows you to stream your recorded shows from a compatible TiVo to the FireStick.

And being an Amazon Prime member gives you a bunch of stuff I have told my friends about it and they are now buying them as well
