I cut the cord on cable and got Sling TV which runs on the fire stick. This has save me nearly $100 a month in cable costs. Plus being a Amazon prime customer I have access to all the free movies on there too. Made sense to me to get this. I now own two of them.

I returned a chromecast....this little puppy - easy to use - the remote makes it great for those who don't have smart phones or tablets (or don't allow in the bedroom!). I was able to plug and play in minutes. And I linked right up to my amazon account - love it!

I love my firestorm and have since purchased more for my home. Easy to use, doesn't lag, no need to run cables all over the house to get access to get shows. The remote is very easy to use and perfect size. My father in law can even understand how to use it.

I have only used this a few times due to the massive amounts of media available out there but each time I have used it I have been extremely pleased with the picture quality, the responsiveness of the entire system and the ease of use without reading any instructions. Hopefully I will be able to add to this after some more use. Then I think it might earn 5 stars.

The fire stick streams good quality movies to your TV. Pros - Price is the lowest out there for a streaming device - Ease of use and set up Cons - Dual core processor can sometimes lag - You cannot connect directly to a router If you have extra money, I would recommend the Fire TV, which has more processing power, memory and a voice activated remote.

This product is phenomenal! I've purchased 4 of these bad boys for all of my TVs and if works great. Way faster and better than my Apple TVs for less than half the price. Try it with KODI, you'll love it!

I bought this thinking...For $35.00 I hope this little USB stick works. Well? It works great. No buffering, very fast. Of course I have High speed Internet. I'm very impressed and the screen savers are awesome. Simple set up, even my grandmother could do it.

I was debating between Fire Stick and Chromecast. Price wise they are comparable, but Fire stick has a physical remote control, which is a big plus. It is easy to install and use. Once in a while it has weird buzz sound and the picture lags, but a reset seems to solve the problem.

I love to use it . It's simple and easy to use ( not a lot of stupids and useless options !) . Much less expensive than the Sony original one . When you're done , just push the sleep button and it's off .. A must have tool to enjoy and use your internet TV !

The Amazon fire stick does exactly what it claims to do. Very easy set up seamless streaming. Over 50% cheaper than my Apple TV and works just as good if not better. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. I have one for every tv in the house now.

I purchased a Fire TV stick because I have a tv in the home that isn't a smart device, and I needed apps on my tv like Netflix, etc. I bought it because it is an Amazon device and I read some descent reviews on it. I brought it home and connected it to my tv, set up the wireless, and updated it with the latest version. Everything worked great at first such as Netflix, Amazon Instant Video etc, but after a while I started having major buffering issues with Netflix and only Netflix. Now I have been going to school for CIS Networking for the last 3 1/2 years so I know it's not my home network (I set it up my self). Other than those few issues, I would recommend this device. I also recommend it if you are looking to buy something that is a little cheaper, but if Money isn't an issue then please buy a Apple TV, or a Roku player because a better streaming of Netflix can be had elsewhere. Whatever you do though, please support Best Buy because they are a great store.

I had previously purchased a Roku and was unable to get it to log on to my home network. Tailoring my router to the Roku was not an option, although that's what it suggested...of course when I gave it to my grandson at his home, with no router, it works fine. The Fire Stick TV Stick launched immediately, and was amazingly easy to use! Amazon Prime and Netflix via a laptop was a real pain full of ads, and popups...with the Fire Stick, all that went away with the ease of use navigation from the remote control. It's true that the "power" cord needed and the hdmi extension cord make for a less than elegant installation...but the benefits outweighed the elegance for the price!

Chose the Fire TV stick due to using Amazon Prime already and read review against it vs Roku. Both seemed great and went with this one. I like having all the Apps in one place. The remote is great and having an app to work the remote is awesome.

I have been looking for something to stream video, use apps, etc. that wasn't obvious and was easy to use. I really like the remote, and all the apps available to me so easily. Love being able to display pictures, videos, etc., too. Perfect for me.

It performs much better than the Roku 1 streaming box I have hooked up to my other tv. Love the compact size and the performance has been pretty great so far. The app selection will get better as time goes along so I won't knock it for the slightly sparse current selection.

The Fire Stick is really amazing! There are a wide range of apps to access such as Netflix, Hulu, and Playstation Vue. The set up is quite simple and is fast if you already have an Amazon account. Despite looking a bit complicated the remote makes navigation easier. It's great having something small hooked up instead of having my PS4.

This is a fantastic device. I can stream my Netflix, Amazon Prime, rent movies, and more from the Fire Stick. It is nice because it can take any TV and turn it into a smart TV. It is slim and compact so it does not take up a lot of room. Love it.

This fire stick installed in minutes. My tv became a smart tv in a few minutes. Can't beat the price or the product! My sister-in-law bought one, and we are amazed at all we can do now.

I stream all my programs. From Hulu, Netflix, and all others. I love the fire stick the best. It's great for someone new to steaming. It's great for people who want to customize streaming. Fire stick has great apps to add. Def recommend it.

I have a chrome cast and a fire stick. The fire stick is so much better because of dedicated apps for netflix and hbo go as well as others. Tons of movies and shows to watch provided you have amazon prime. It does come with a remote which is handy.
