Excellent cable tv replacement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We just cut down on our cable package so we only get about 20 channels and they are all very basic. My parents have a roku stick and like it. We opted for the firstick because it was cheaper and we already have an amazon prime subscription. The stick works very good. My only complaint is with some of the apps that freeze. Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime, Netflix, and YouTube works without any manor issues. The crackle app and a few other minor apps have a tendency of freezing. The free games are fun too. I have ownned 2 of these for about 2 months.

Great low cost streaming device
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a low cost streaming device that supported Sling TV, Netflix and Amazon Prime. The Fire TV stick fit the bill. Installation was a snap and so far everything is working well (occasional hiccups on Sling TV but I believe that this is specifically an issue with Sling and not the Fire TV stick). I knocked off one star because the Fire TV stick is a bit slower in terms of response time when compared to it's bigger brother, the Amazon Fire TV. But this has not proven to be a major issue and the product is well worth the price.
