Very east to set-up and use; even an adult can do this! The remote makes all the difference. If you are considering this type of product be sure to check out the newest Fire versions in (or about to be) the marketplace.

Our new Amazon TV Fire Stick is the best! Prior to this purchase, we were using Wii for Netflix and there is absolutely no comparison in terms of options and usability. It was easy to install and the online instructions were spot on. The only additional comment I would like to make is for future buyers - shortly after we starting using the Fire Stick, it became non-functional. After researching online, we discovered that we needed to run a simple upgrade on our TV, after which the stick worked perfectly again; this is no reflection on the Fire Stick - I just want to spare future buyers some potential frustration.

After months of research and youtube reviews I decided this was the best thing for what I was looking for. I wasn't expecting to purchase this at all, not even on my top 3. I was looking for the premium boxes 100+. Can't believe this little gadget the size of the classic iPad shuffle was all I needed. For the price, this more then justified it. Just the mirrior link alone, an adapter for that was on the top 20's. Super portable no more boring hotel, visits no more boring family reunions.

TV Fire Stick is slightly bigger than a thumb and attached easily to the TV's HDMI port. It is powered directly by electrical port. Set up was easy. There are a bunch of Apps one can down load from the cloud, such as Amazon Prime, Netflix, HGTV, Food Network, PBS and many more. PBS shows are not available on cable's On Demand function, so the only way I could view them after they aired are on my computer. With the Fire Stick, I can watch PBS shows within a day or two after airing, provided one has a PBS membership. Same is true of HGTV, Food Network and other channels. The stick checks with your cable provider if you have a subscription for that channel. Sling TV App subscription lets you watch many channels and get rid of cable. I am really enjoying this product since purchasing. I bought it to replace my old Apple TV and it has been a great experience. Ease of set up and ease of use were the first things I notice. The picture on movies and TV shows is fantastic quality. All in all, I would definitely recommend this product.

I have an older samsung smart tv and it has not received updates in a while. The amazon fire stick was an inexpensive way for me to fix that problem. It streams flawlessly and take 0 time to set up. Everyone should own 1!!

Bought this a month ago and gave it that much time before writing this review. All in all this is a GREAT product. I don't have a smart tv or even a smart blu-ray player so I wanted something to watch Netflix on my TV without having to go through my Xbox or Wii. It lives up to the billing for sure. Add on Plex and the free month of Prime and it just adds more. The only downside is the menus. You have no way of knowing what is free and what you have to pay for until you select the show or movie. I had a couple moments where I said "Oh, look! That movie is on Prime!" only to discover that I had to rent it for $4.99. They need to start focusing on movies and shows that people want to watch with their membership for FREE and not what we have to pay for. There's a reason I paid the $100 for Prime and it wasn't to pay another $4.99 every time I want to watch a good movie. I am cancelling my Prime membership and sticking with Netflix. It has the exact same shows and is a LOT easier to navigate. The product works great though. VERY fast and VERY nice to have!

I bought this for my parents because they didn't want to spend money on a new smart tv. It's really just plug and play. Big advantage to this particular one is the remote makes it much easier to navigate with it.

Thus product works immediately with no complaint. Just plug it in and go. Has a large variety of apps preloaded and works well with any t.v, in my house. I have also used it while traveling and it was a game changer.

I purchased this for my brother this past Christmas, and he loves it. Really simple to install; essentially plug-and-play. He streams several media, like Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, and WWE Network, and more.

I have heard too many comments from friends on how great this device is. Picked one up and I have to say I was blown away with what you can do and the flexibility of this little device. If you are an on demand video buff this is what you want. The device setup on a Wi Fi network was very easy with on screen instructions to walk you through the setup. That set top box that the cable companies charge you for and the hefty cable bill is an option to cut off with this device. All you need is an active Amazon account and if you add in a Prime membership you set. You can binge watch movies and tv shows all day on a rainy day. Stock up on popcorn and enjoy the show. The only regret I have is not getting a bigger bowl for popcorn.

This is a great compact streaming device. Unlike some devices it keeps your information stored even after being unplugged which makes it convenient to take on trips. The only problems I have encountered are occasional lag (very rarely), sometimes it gets pretty hot and can turn itself off to cool down (also rare), And even though it says it can run without the micro usb power cord it seems to not get enough power without it. But most streaming devices need a power source. Those issues may seem pretty big, but having used multiple streaming devices before I'd choose the fire stick. Its compact, portable, and the imterface is very user friendly.

This Fire Stick is awesome! Even our young daughter can use it with ease! Travels well! Speed is good! (We have pretty good internet speeds)! Highly recommend! Especially when Best Buy has it on "deal of the day"!

Works very well and is nice having a remote that does not make you use your phone but you can if needed. has a very good selection of services, connects to wireless easily, and streams great over cable internet.

The setup was as simple as plugging it in at 2 locations, and right away it is tracking to my wifi and ready for use. I was worried about the stick versus the box but have no complaints and it is completely hidden.

This is best entry level streaming device on the market and for 39.99 it's an absolute steal. A lot of people don't realize this but the Fire Stick can cast content from your phone just like a Chromecast can.

Purchased this to replace a Chromecast. I like the Fire TV stick better because it supports a variety of streaming sources, including Netflix and Amazon Prime content. The included remote control is a nice bonus.

i love this hdmi tv plug in for the smart features. great little adapter with remote what else can you ask for. say bye bye to the chromecast. this is my new go to. better then any other i have used and bought.

I recently became an Amazon Prime member, getting a one year membership when offered at a discount. I had read that the Amazon Fire Stick was good for viewing the movies available for Amazon Prime members. And it was. Setup is easy to connect to your wireless network. After logging in to that, then I logged in to my Amazon Prime account, and my watch list and everything else was there. I have enjoyed using it since. Two things to note: one can install XBMC on this device without system hacks (worrysome to me). Which opens the door even more for online viewing. Also, I don't think this device is 4k compatible like the full sized fire. But given how little it costs, I will happily upgrade when a new 4k stick is available.
