I bought this after I have bought a chromecast. I like the fact that it has its own remote. The kids can use it to watch their shows and not need my mobile device to use. Very easy to setup and start using.

Easy set up and easy to use. Design is the best if your TV has a smaller area where the auxiliary plugs are. Power plug on the side of the unit and has an adapter for extra length if needed. Content is good and remote works well.

There are a few things I wish this had like an ethernet port or a USB in but I knew what I was getting before I bought it so I can't complain. The search function doesn't work for much besides amazon content and that is kind of a bummer, they should really at least include netflix in the search. Overall I am very happy with this, I have not had any problems with it and it has all the apps I need: Plex, Netflix, Sling TV and of course Amazon. I have noteiced there is no playon channel so if you use that this is not the device for you. If you use the Android Fire TV remote you gain the voice search function and a keyboard and theres an app AKG Fire that allows you to sideload any app on your phone on to the fire stick so if there is an app you want thats not available on amazon you can load it from your phone. All in all this is the best bang for the buck but if you want ultimate flexibility and apps the Roku 3 is probably the way to go. This thing does blow any other streaming stick out of the water though.

This does exactly what I want in terms of streaming both my media as well as access to other media apps. The down side is that many of the apps that I use especially for home purposes must be side loaded. Another plus unlike the chrome cast it has a remote freeing me of my smart phone.

I bought this for the non-smart tv' sin my home. Very easy to install, or move from one tv to another for streaming. Has the same bells and whistles as the roku for about $20 less. Well woth the $40 price tag!

The Firestick works great, and the setup was easy. We also purchased an adapter and have been able to use it on a tv with no usb port. It's also nice to have a remote. The phone remote app works great, too.

Now we all know that sometimes the older generations are not nearly as computer savy as the younger gen x or newer generations (most of the people from my generation remember having to set their parent's/grandparent's clock on their VCR for them). Luckily though, the Firestick is so easy to use that my 7 year old started using one last year by herself when she was 6 (it was a christmas gift for her in 2014). We bought this for my FIL for christmas and after I set it up for him and logged it into all our accounts he was binge watching shows on prime and netflix by the end of the weekend. As much as I love my chromecast, I will say that the firestick or a fire tv is easier to use for the less computer savy.

The Amazon Firestick is an amazing product packed into a tiny stick. It will make any standard tv a Smart Tv. Easy to operate and function. Amazon has its own programming which is another great feature.

Easy to set up easy to use and something even more unusual, it worked exactly as advertised. If you're planning on getting one I would go for it. We have two so far in two different homes and they work great

I love the Amazon Firestick because it affordable and I'm able to easily turn any tv in my home into a smart tv. I'm looking forward to purchasing them as Christmas gifts this year for the entire family.

if your looking for something to use for streaming I would recommend using the amazon fire tv stick. small and compact and hides away behind the tv, no bulky set-top box. it's definitely the way to go

Amazon Fire TV Stick is a great alternative to the Fire TV Box. Streaming is easy to use and gets the job done. Set up was a breeze and at this price will add one to all of our TV sets throughout the house.

The amazon fire stick is a very reliable streaming device that allows you to stream all your favorite apps like netflix and hulu plus. Kids love it as they can download games and play on the big screen.

Amazon fire is a great product for streaming videos. It's fast, easy to use, and allows for open source apps. If you have an Amazon Prime account, you'll have access to tons of viewing entertainment.

it's so easy to use this amazon stick, I can watch all my t.v. episodes whenever I want at The time I want & it connects to any HDMI input on any t.v. It's compact including the remote. Awesome product!!

Love this thing! Easy setup and use. I didn't get the one with the voice remote but I use the iPhone app so who cares. If I put it to sleep when I'm done it even turns my LG tv on when it wakes up!

I have the firetv and the fire stick- this one is perfect for a non 4k tv. It can lag a bit at times but its incredibly easy to set up and simple to navigate. 10/10 would buy again

Works great and easy to connect. I love it I'm able to stream Netflix and other apps easily on it. I would recommend to anyone I would rank it better than a chrome cast but less than the Apple TV.

I love the Amazon Fire Stick, it was easy to install and now I have access to Netflix, MLB.com, Hulu, YouTube, etc. It literally turns your regular TV into a Smart TV. I also love the remote control.

Very good product for the price. I bought it when it was on sale for $25. A must have if you are an Amazon Prime member. The interface is very easy to use and the remote is much better than Apple TV.
