Easy to set up, easy to use - great for movies, shows, music and even games.

I got the Amazon Fire Stick because of Sling Box and I've been pretty happy with it thus far. Without making this just about Sling Box I will say that the Fire Stick is pretty awesome even if you already have a smart tv or other streaming device. The only down side is the occasional hiccup (very rare) and sometimes the program has to play catch up, which it does very quickly.

Pros: easy to install and move to other TV's. I bought it for the bedroom TV. Memory of what was being watched. Nice screensaver. Many apps. Some free. Cons Have to upload the the app or sign in No off switch-sleep or self shut off

Pros: Inexpensive. Feature-rich. Lots of content and services available, especially for Amazon Prime members. Cons: Not as quick as the Fire TV. Interface is curated primarily around Amazon content. Bottom Line: Amazon's stick-sized version of the Fire TV media hub is less than half the price and offers all of the same appealing features, save for sheer speed.

I enjoy our Firestick. It makes any TV in the house a smart tv.

Needed an alternative to expensive cable. This fits the bill very well. Paired with my Amazon Prime account, I have more TV content than I can ever watch. Got antennas for the local stations. Great buy on sale for $24.95. Bought 3, 1 for each TV. Quality video and audio too.

The Amazon Fire TV stick is a great alternative to the more expensive Apple TV and even the Amazon Fire TV. Plug right into the HDMI (and connect the power supply for "better connectivitity") and make sure you have a wireless connection. Works best with a strong wi-fi connection.

I love the fact that is small and it has 1GB of memory. The remote control is also handy and sleek design. Is an excellent option to converto your HDTV to a smart tv.

I would completely recommend this to anyone with an extra HDMI slot on their TV and an Amazon Prime account. I purchased it for the app capabilities, such as DropBox. Come to find out, this is not the media player for me. I'm also an Apple person and this doesn't communicate well with my devices, but looks like it would be good for an Android, as well as Roku or Google.
