Easy to use, like a the shows I missed on t.v., and some great movies too

All of these little devices are pretty similar. I have had a Google chrome, roku, and the Amazon Fire stick. The key sufferance is where you are buying your content. I primarily get mine from Amazon, so the fire stick was the best option. These devices are just delivery systems for the different content providers and is the only realistic difference as far as I can see.

This is my first step towards cutting the cord with cable. I use this on a HDTV I have mounted on my back porch. There was no CATV wiring installed there so this was a great option. It connects and works great with my WiFi and additionally, I have installed some other apps on it that allow us to watch some other programming. I also use this with my PLEX server, downloaded the app from the app store (free) and this also works very well. I am looking at possibly upgrading to the Fire TV in the near future, as it has expandable memory via SD slot and a little more horsepower too!!! Great purchase!!!

I really do like the fire stick. It works to stream netflix, hulu and amazon prime stuff. The only major problem that I've been having with it is buffering. It tends to buffer more when you're watching something in HD. Sometime you can watch the whole show, sometimes it buffers through out. It just depends. On what, I don't know. But, it's not a bad value for what you get.

One of the better streaming devices available. I have Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Roku 2, as well as the Fire Stick. The Fire Stick is on par with Xbox One for streaming. Wireless support for 5 Ghz WiFi bands was big improvement over Roku 2. Ability to stream CBS All Access on TV is advantage over Xbox systems. Amazon Fire TV app even adds the Alexa voice capabilities for search. Please added advance capabilities provided by 3rd party apps like Kodi made casting from Windows 10 PC to Fire Stick seamless. Definitely worth the purchase for overall functionality over every other streaming device on market.

Easy set up, easy navigation. May end up giving up cable and just stream.

I got amazon prime by accident but it has been a blessing. My daugher did not have cable in her room (our choice) but now that she is older we needed something. We got the firestick and it was easy to hook up and it talked us through the set up. Easy, friendly service.

This is the second one I purchased. I'm kicking out cable and this firestick is so easy, and gives me access to Amazon, Netflix, Hulu and so much more. I love it!

I bought this to add functionality for my TV. The first week showed some promising features but also weakness. It no question that this little stick provide much needed connectivity for my so called "smart" Sharp TV, but I seemed to get some lagging for the picture. It might be my internet but I am using the top speed from my provider. More testing is needed in my case.

I have wifi but no cable. This allows me to watch Netflix or Amazon Prime. Some of the free apps you can download are worthless in that it only gives you snippets of shows. Some of the channels offered require you to have cable access and that stinks. Overall I am satisfied.

The Amazon fire stick has hassle free streaming. I'm a prime member and I love that I can watch prime free movies on it. The best feature is it's portable!!!!
