Although I have a SMART TV, it is one of the first of its kind so it unfortunately does not have the Netflix app. Connecting my tablet for Netflix didn't provide the best quality picture and wasn't as convenient so I was happy when I came across this on BestBuy.com. What made it even more enticing was that it was on sale for only $20, certainly much better than paying $100 for the box. It was very easy to connect and start using and I especially like that I can use my tablet as a remote to navigate, type, etc. I'm very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend.

I initially purchased a chromecast, but the need of a phone or laptop made it not very user friendly. The apps for streaming tv are better and the GUI is great. Really awesome if you have Prime, since you can watch shows and listen to a lot of music.

I like this fire stick. I'm new at using it . But so far it's great. You can get all the latest movie plus old one and tv shows. It's very easy to use also. The speed is very good. I would recommend this product .

Bought this for my sons t.v., we also use it on our t.v. great for someone that has no cable or limited channels. If your a movie buff this great for that also. You do need wifi for this to work.

When I first tried to mirror my Kindle Fire HDX with the Fire Stick, it would not work. A couple of calls to Amazon, along with a flurry of Kindle Forum threads, and Amazon issued a software upgrade that did the trick. Now the Stick is awesome. Love it!

Main reason to buy this was the ability to add Kodi app to this device. The Fire Stick is pretty neat, and has a lot of options to view content with Amazon Prime. Then the ability to add the Kodi software expands the available media quite a bit.

The fire stick is user friendly and very easy to navigate.

I have used several different products for streaming Internet content to my television: Roku, Sony Blu-Ray player, Samsung SmartTV, Sony Playstation. Just about all of them perform well enough for standard services like Netflix, but none has the flexibility to install third-party applications like KODI, which scours the net for virtually unlimited streaming content. I've used the PC for TV streaming, but it doesn't have the convenience of the Firestick remote control. Amazon Firestick opens KODI to the living room TV, for just about $40. Awesome.

The amazon fire tv sticks adds smart tv functionality to non smart tvs. Has a good variety of video apps and games. Easy to use and very portable.
