I was using raspberry pi. But fire stick is better than pi. Easy to handle. Good product for cheaper price.

Although I'm not a technical savvy person I must say it has been a great addition for entertainment in our home. If you are savvy with technology do your research and buy one, or more!

Was looking for an alternative way to watch shows after cutting off our cable. Amazon Fire TV is a great supplement. I plan on purchasing a few more for additional rooms in the house.

One of the best purchases I have ever made. Had an old TV game it to the kids added fire stick no need to run cable to the tv and can limit content easily plus having games no brainier.

Works great and installed and set up very quickly and simply. Remote is excellent. Would be nice to have less cumbersome keyboard input, but at this price the inconvenience is minor.

Bought it from a promotion. Great stream tv device. Easy to carry, enough storage capacity. The program interface is a little bit inconvenient, but a side loaded firestarter can fix it.

We decided to buy this because the Wifi quit on our TV and we don't have cable. We had a chromcast but it was packed and we didn't know where. Best decision! We use NetFlix and Amazon and so many others on this! Fantastic! Works great with our Samsung Smart TV.

It's only ok. I'm also a current AppleTV user and prefer AppleTV. I don't like the interface of the Amazon FireTV stick. It serves it's purpose however and I'm able to utilize Netflix, HBOGo, Flixster, and more!

Recently helped my parents cut the cord. Paired a HD antenna with the fire stick and they don't miss their bloated cable package at all. What's great about the fire stick is that I can manage all the settings for them from my home and even add shows they'll like in netflix or gift them a series on amazon. and all they have to do is learn the remote and selection process. By the end of the week they were streaming with ease.

works with a modified version of android tv. with the content of amazon is almost instantanio, run a few apps and games for android. The only bad thing I found him is that it contains a web browser, and any app from google works. and even many of the amazon app store

Amazon Fire TV Stick is a great way to stream many network TV shows (live and on demand) and other subscription channels (netflix, hulu, amazon instant video, etc.). Has same apps (that I can tell) as Apple TV with the addition of Amazon Instant Video, which Apple TV does not offer. Minor difficulty connecting to network from where I plan to have it is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, but moved to a tv closer to router for setup, then moved back and no issues since then. Use HDMI extender included if planning on having more than about 20 feet away from router.
