Wasn't sure how this would work, but I now realize what all the praise was about. Much better than Chrome Cast and the selection so what can be done with the fire stick is great!

As a business owner was looking for something to back up my invoices and other business documents. This worked perfectly and quick to transfer. Easy peasy to say the least.

Great for those no so techy guys. Siper simple install, thinking of getting rid of cable.

I bought the Fire stick based on its amazing Specs to replace my aging Roku 2 XS which keep rebooting itself once every couple of days. BTW, I also own a Chromecast which is a bit inconvenient for kids without remote especially when you don't want to give them iPhone/iPads just to watch TV. The Fire stick looks nice and has its own power cord. When I used USB power for Fire stick like Chromecast, it had stability issues and was restarting itself every once in a while. Once I started using it with power cord and logged myself in to Netflix app, everything looked like it is working as expected. However, I started noticing random connectivity issues with Netflix even though Amazon Prime itself was working fine all the time. I have setup Netflix app on Roku, Chromecast & Xbox in addition to Fire stick. None of them ever have network connectivity issues with Netflix except the Firestick which has this issue multiple times a day. In addition to this major irritation, the fire stick forgets my Netflix username & password forcing me to login once every few days. I am not sure if this is a round-about way of degrading Netflix experience to force users to watch Amazon prime shows or this is just some initial bugs that will get eventually ironed out. I am keeping the device hoping the issues might get resolved with software updates but I am very disappointed with the fire stick performance for now.

Got the stick to replace bulky Roku box for watching Amazon prime. Installs easily and works well.

I love my fire stick. I use it while on travel or at home. It has an Android OS on it. So there is customization that can be done.

If you are looking to get into the smart TV world with out purchasing a new smart TV, this is the way to go. Get access to all the basics through Amazon apps

This is a pretty practical way to take advantage of a Prime Video membership from Amazon. It also adds games that you can play and the option to view your stored pictures.

Using The Amazon Fire Stick is a very good way to spend an evening or lazy day at home. It is capable of having so many applications loaded, the possibilities are endless!!

I love my fire sticks. We have 4 of them now. They are so simple to set up and use. The ability to add extra apps and the small form factor were the selling points for us. We have one on all bedroom TVs. There so cost effective we even have one in the Garage. The last two we purchased a week before they went on sale at bestbuy.com. Customer service still gave us the price break without having to return them.

I'm happy with the Amazon fireTV stick. It was straightforward to setup and install on my TV and it's working great so far. Definitely recommend!

Small enough to take everywhere and very fast. It can also be transferred from room to room

Small,discrete inexpensive easy to use. Have signed up for Amazon Prime and Netflix with this inexpensive gadget. Now free of a huge cable bill to watch 150 channels of nothing. Pick your programs,protect you kids,say goodbye to huge cable bills and commercials. About once a month we do need to unplug the system and basically reset it,but I had to do that with my cable box too so it's not a big issue.

The Amazon FireStick has allowed us to ditch the satellite! No more cable bills. Now we only pay for Netflix, HuluPlus, and AmazonPrime - which we were paying for anyway.

Recommended by a friend, I decided to pull the trigger and get one of these. Didn't realize there's so much content available - especially if you're a Prime member. Love it!

This is a great deal for a streaming device. The best thing about it is that it is a stand alone device, so I don't have to depend from other devices. Only bummer is that I haven't found a way to use a cast-like feature, but can live without it.

Overall pleased with the Fire Stick but on a few occasions, it has frozen up on me while on the main menu. Just frustrating that most Amazon Prime Movies and Shows charge a fee. Very difficult to find anything that is free that is worth watching.

I travel a lot. So I like to watch my movies and shows. And I hate to have to figure out how to use the hotel tv. So I just plug this in and get on the WiFi and I'm getting my Netflix or HBO Go with no trouble. OR at home it's all on one stick for my dumb TV I have in my work shop. I just put it in and boom, I have my shows while I work. And I"ve used it to watch YouTube to see how to build a project.

Could be improved and be more open to additional functions. Must have Amazon Prime to view videos. Need to also purchase apps in order to use. Good stick, but Chromecast works just as well if you have another source of video (Hulu, Netflix etc.)
