Awesome little device for just the right price. Easy setup and lots of apps. Good comparison to my apple tv

This product overall is about a 8/10. Amazon has hit it pretty much on the numbers here with their offering into the streaming world of Cord Cutters. Overall the device works great with a minimum internet connection of 5-10Mbps, I currently have a 75Mbps package from Comcast, so my streaming is all in HD and 4K. All you need to make this work is a open HDMI port on your tv and an active wireless connection. The one downside of this product is the design. Since my TV is wall mounted I have to use the Side HDMI inputs and it sticks out the side of my tv by about 2-3 inches, and I also have my power cords routed in the wall, but the USB to AC Power cord for this, since it is on the side of my tv does not work, so I also have a thin USB Style cord hanging from the Stick down to the plug in the wall below. Outside of that, I would say this is one of the best products to get started with the streaming world, and if you do a little google searching you can also find some very creative things to do with this device to make it one of the best streaming devices on the market, with the ability to watch Live Sports and be able to get every tv show and movie ever made.

My parents wanted (nay, needed) to be able to watch Netflix, Hulu, etc. on something other than their laptop. I gave them an old flat screen TV I had and installed this. The setup took about 5 minutes, might take 10 if you are a technology novice. The setup, once complete, provides a helpful, and optional, instructional video. Can get anyone up to speed quickly. I highly recommend this as a cheap TV upgrade for anyone of any experience level.

I'm using the Fire TV Stick with an integrated Sharp DVD/HDTV which is wall mounted in my library. Installation and setup was very easy with both the TV and my home network recognizing the device immediately. Best of all I downloaded a $1.50 app from Amazon which enabled the device to stream video, pictures and audio from my networked NAS servers. I now have access to the best of both worlds - external Internet media and internal NAS media. Highly recommended!

This is the best product for just simple streaming. The only complaint I have is that if you're far away you're shows and movies will lag. But it's almost unnoticable.

I purchased this product for my main tv in our house. We have the amazon prime membership so I simply plugged the fire stick into the back of my tv and I ended up with a "smart tv". If we ever want to stream movies or shows through the internet I just have to access the fire stick. This is a great way for someone to have a smart tv without going out and buying one.

Okay... So I am a Google fanboy. Android, Chrome, ChromesOS, Nexus, etc. We have a couple of Chromecasts. And they are good. But the Fire TV Stick went on sale and I decided to give it a try. I find the interface is nicer and the (included) remote makes it more convenient. The one downside is movies on Amazon have a tendency to be about a $1 more than they are on Google Play. We are Prime members - so - if you are a Prime member - I say get one.

The Amazon Fire TV stick, for the price that it is, is a great option apart from using an HDMI cable plugged into your computer. Streaming services like YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, WatchESPN, etc., work well, but have the slightly occasional buffer in the middle of the video, even with 30 Mbps internet. App store is a work in progress, with an alright variety of games, productivity, and entertainment options. Very helpful if you want to have a movie or TV show running on your TV while you work on a computer. The price speaks for its value, as at times it can bog down and become slightly unresponsive.

From all the products out there that you can stream tv i can tell you this is one of the best i have ever buy. I have gone thru so many and this is the most reliable plus the price is unbeatable. For those who are amazon prime members this is A Plus because you can access as well your amazon movies. I have always been an apple products lover and i still am, but with the Amazon Fire Stick TV i have done an exception and i am surprised! I recommend it

Purchased the basic Firestick for our guest bedroom. Connected with no issue to my network and no issues with use so far. Don't mind the basic remote and have downloaded the app to my cell phone for voice which seems to work fine. Watched several movies without any buffering issues. Pleased with the way it works and it's transportable to take on vacation.

I absolutely love this device. I have streamed many smart apps such as Netflix, Amazon prime etc. on many different devices such as playstations, smart tvs, smart DVD players etc. but this device has all the same functions and power yet is convenient. Take it with you on a trip n just plug into any tv with an hdmi input and an electrical outlet. My only qualm with this device was that it did not have HBO go. They have since updated it and have HBO go!

It needs voice. It sets up very easy. The picture quality is good.

The Amazon Fire Stick is great because it is small and you can access almost anything you would want from it unlike the google chrome. With the google chrome you can't get Amazon on the stick or at least you couldn't which is another reason why Amazon's was better. The only thing about the fire stick is it freezes up every now and then. Not often enough to really cause concern but, you have to restart it every once in a great while. Otherwise, Awesome!

The fire stick is very easy to set up, easy to navigate. The remote is very user friendly and basic.
