Got this for my girlfriends dad and he loves it, uses it everyday. Even though he thought he wouldn't like it, now he can't get enough, even signed up for nexflix and hulu for it.

I had some trouble getting it to respond to my internet connection but once it picked it up in the other room it went well. It is nice to have another option to watch rather than tv.

Pick a TV show you like, pick a movie, and you're no longer stuck with 100's of channels with nothing on that you like.

$100 for prime $40 for the firestick. Vs the $110 a month for U-verse. Saves you a ton of money. Well worth the purchase.

I have a Apple TV but this gives you so many more options and applications. And this stick is amazing while traveling!!

Got this because I watch a lot of Netflix movies. Also watch movies on Amazon. The fire stick gives me a huge variety including games and television shows. So glad I made the purchase.

I already have a Roku 3 and Roku stick and this fire stick works for what I wanted in being an android based OS streaming stick. It gets a little hot after a few hours of use but it still works fine. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because sometimes it will crash back to the main menu but you can go right back to where you left off. So maybe it will be an update later from Amazon. Either way, not a bad streaming stick.

An inexpensive way to watch Amazon instant video and video from other apps available for the Amazon Fire TV series. Used on a secondary TV to add HD where there isn't a cable box.

Bought the fire stick to install kodi xbmc on it..

My wife was after me about cutting our cable bill down. We put the fire stick in our bedroom to delete the cost of the cable box... To my surprise it has a nice selection of movies.

I have had no issues using the firestick just like any electronics if it locks up on you reset and your good to go.

I love this device! I use it for watching all of my streaming content and even gave them as gifts for the holidays..

I got this as a gift for my parents. I got them a chromecast originally, but they are very old school and casting from a device rather than using a traditional remote was too complicated for them. I was going to get them a Roku, but decided on this since they are avid Prime members and both use Kindles. If you have Prime, this makes sense. It integrates with their music and video services well. The search feature will show what you can watch for free or make purchases to rent and buy from the device. The interface is pretty good if you use it only for Prime. If you are a heavy Netflix, Hulu, Plex or other third party user, this is less than great. All of the Prime content gets its own thumbnail in the home screen. But each of those apps get the one, so you'll see the last 5 shows you watched on Amazon and only the one image to encompass all of Netflix. Once you are in Netflix, you get the familiar interface though. It wish the interface was more like Roku, where each app is treated equally. Clearly, Amazon wants to keep you accessing their content by default, and their interface accomplishes this. But, like I said, since my parents are Prime (and don't use Netflix or Hulu) this was a good option for them. They actually get use out of this one and have no difficulty navigating around. There is little troubleshooting need, as well. Bottom line, get this if you are a devoted Amazon Prime fan and primarily use their services. It is a good product for the money. Otherwise, spend the same cash on a comparable Roku.

I love this product. I found the ease of use to be simple; not complex at all. Just a matter of insert and use. Well there was a setup required, but once complete... Boom, zoom & Bang, of you go to using it. I also found the packaging to be quite innovative and sleek. Love it. Great purchase. Great price.

We are very pleased with the Amazon fire tv stick. Our internet isn't the fastest but we are getting very good results.
