Bought my first fire stick last year to get sling tv Because we cut the cord with cable did an awesome job then we decided to get playstation vue tv this year and can stream multiple devices so we bought another fire stick to put on our bedroom tv still works great with all the apps that we need .

Most of the apps on the stick are blah. Google how to tweak the product and you can watch many shows and movies that do not come as a standard app on the product for free.

This fire stick is a real winner, allowed me to put a lot of good content on my HDMI tv without a subscription

Amazon's little smart tv stick is a little piece of joy if you know what to do with it. If your a techie and want this to watch things that you should be paying to see then it's under powered. but if your using it as amazon wants you to then this is the stick for you. you have apps like netflix hulu pbs and others. I find the controller funky acting but for others it may work just fine. i give it a 3 out of 5 because i see what amazon can do with this piece of tech and what version 2.0 may have to offer

I love this little gadget! You hardly know it exists for your entertainment, yet I can watch more movies and shows than I could've ever imagined...probably not a good thing!

Bought this for a 2nd bedroom, personally like Apple TV better however it is cheaper so went with this alternative. Does what I want for a 2nd bedroom. Netflix, Youtube, etc.

Bought this to replace my chromecast. Only advantage is that u can side load an android app into the fire stick. I do missed a lot of functions that comes with chromecast

The Amazon Fire TV stick is the perfect streaming media device. It has every capability a streamer might like.

Great video quality. Extremely easy to set up. Fairly intuitive UI. BUT still no HBOGo or SyFy which is a pretty big deal for me.

Fits perfect for the television watching that I do. I get the channel that I need for free or at a very low cost.

Very easy to set up this product with your Amazon account. Sometimes a little frustrating to navigate between selections. Overall, it's totally worth the reasonable price paid.

Cut my cable subscription for Amazon Fire TV. Saves us money every month. Love it and my whole family loves it!

Sadly I wouldn't recommend this unless you're with amazon prime. It streams well, but the chromecast had some features that I wanted.

I heard about this through word of mouth, and trust me once you get this you will wont to cancel your cable.
