Great product, allows a normal TV to work as a smart TV with only WIFI.

As long as you have Amazon Prime it is a good addition to your tv. A one stop shop for most shows and movies.

You just need a high speed internet connection. Watch the latest movies and TV shows with easy navigation.

Great device i have bought one for my entire family immediate and extended and everyone loves and lives by it.

We have the chrome cast, appletv, and roku, & the Amazon firestick comes in second place next. Although pretty easy to set up & use, it just doesn't compare to the appletv. Not to say it isn't a great streaming device, because it truly is. Syncing with my amazon prime account is a big plus.

This device is awesome. I have a chromecast both are great but would definitely choose the fire stick over it.

I like that it's portable. The setup was easy and is a greatest product for the cost.

I wasn't too thrilled that it doesn't come with the HDMI to power adaptor, but still a nice product. The ability to play games is nice and screen quality is excellent.

the product is easy to set up and use right away. For the money this is the way to go! They nailed it!!! The internet connection is easy, and the device connects quickly so you can surf the web or connect to prime or Netflix. I'd recommend this product to anyone over other streaming devices.

This product is better than Chromecast. It has a native Slingbox app. Roku makes you airplay to the AppleTV.

Great device to use for movies. With it running android it can be modded to do more than it can out the box.

With the trend of cutting the cord, there has been a surge of people trying to find the best alternative device to stream their favorite movies and tv shows. Enter Amazons Fire Stick. It's a simple plug and play device that isn't complicated to use. However, I've found that the fire stick overheats too much and in order to really take advantage of its usefulness, you need to purchase an Amazon prime account which runs about 100 bucks or so a year. However, Amazon just released an option that allows you to pay 10 bucks a month to have access to prime and 8.99 for their video service. Now they don't have all the episodes of your favorite shows and if you want that, you would subscribe to Hulu plus which would cost you more money and then Netflix, a little bit more. Also the Amazon store is ok but not as expansive as the google play store. If you want something that you can add your own apps to, you can't do it on the fire stick unless you side load which would require you to use a computer and programs which you would have to search for at your own risk. I would recommend this for kids but if you want something more, find a android tv box.
