I purchased this with the intent to stream video at home. Follow instruction online I was able to install kodi , firestarter on the stick. This device is much more convenience compare to other streaming device setup out there (i.e : raspberry pi..). With the remote, you can access and stream your digital content at home with easy.

I own a Fire TV set top box and needed another streaming box for my bedroom. I didn't want to invest quite as much money as the full size box so I gave the stick a shot. It's quite snappy for being so small and the end-user experience is identical for the most part. I have noticed the WiFi connection is a bit weaker than with the full size box and that some content has a tendency to buffer longer on the stick however these were minor setbacks overall.

After reading reviews of the various options I chose this because I have an Amazon Prime account. The Amazon frie stick allows you to seamlessly watch Prime content on your tv, etc. I haven't used it for netflix, hulu, etc but it works with all those too. Also allows to have Prime music content playing over a device. Set-up was easy.

I purchased this for our bedroom TV so that I could stream my Hulu and Netflix. This was really easy to install and works great. I even downloaded the Fire TV app for my phone so I can control the stick from my phone. It is also very easy to take with us. We took this on our last vacation and plugged right into the tv at the condo.

Having Amazon Prime makes this product much better. We've had Prime for a couple of years for the free, quick shipping. We never even used the Amazon Video service because we use Netflix and AppleTV. But the Fire Stick was so affordable and after reviewing the content available on Prime Video, it was well worth the risk. Turned out great, the Prime Video offerings are good, the Amazon original content is worth it too, and the movie rentals are cheaper than AppleTV and also last for 2 days rather than 1. The functionality of the Fire Stick is awesome too. As someone who is eagerly awaiting the day I can cut the cord to cable, I'm a believer in having multiple devices like the Fire Stick, Roku and AppleTV.... the Fire Stick is highly recommended.

Very easy to use Fast and discrete Download games too

Lived up to my expectations by being very easy to use and provided access to the streaming channels I was looking for. The only problem I encountered is that when this is plugged into the TV it causes distortion while watching HDTV through an Amazon Ultra-Thin Indoor HDTV Antenna. So, I just unplug the USB while using the Antenna.
