Wonderfully simple to install

I was between the Fire stick and the Roky stick and decided on the Fire because it has a better interface for prime videos. It is great for the price. Didn't put 5 stars because sometimes (rarely) it gets slow.

Better than the apps on my TV

It is just a android device with FireTV OS.

Having to have 2 App stores (Google and Amazon) is ridicules. I would have to buy some of my Apps twice on this bizz model. Some have managed to root the thing to get the play store and other functionality. but found amazon talks to there devices all the time. When a device is found that has old firmware write new and irreversibly updates that prevent firmware down grades. For me I will say it does what is advertised, but lacks a USB port to hook up a key board or install a web browser. It could have been great hardware, but Amazon does not want users to go Google at all or to have any fun. If you are a kindle person, check your apps, a good share are not going to run on a stock Stick, so in my mind they missed the boat on this one.
