This thing is awesome. It can stream from your amazon prime videos to netflix and sling tv. The size is about a big bigger than a flash drive, and you can use the USB port from your tv if it has one. For $40, you definately cant go wrong! My mother and father in law both wanted one after they saw mine!

If you're an Amazon prime member, all your Amazon content (prime streaming, cloud music, prime music and photos) are all really easy to get to with this device. Plus, my Roku streaming stick takes nearly a minute to load up (a long time if you're just sitting there) while the Fire TV stick is nearly immediate.

I have been an owner of dozens of streaming devices, and this is a great travel device. It is a super easy to use interface, and if you are tech savvy, you can side load applications like Super Nintendo Emulators or Kodi/XBMC. I highly recommend getting this if you are someone who likes to stream on the go.

I went in to purchase a different device and started asking questions. I ended up with this option since it didn't require me to mirror my phone or tablet screen. I think the playback through Netflix is really good--I don't notice any slowdowns or anything. It was an easy installation & set up too.

I have purchased several of these for different family members. They basically turn a non smart TV into one as long as it has a HDMI port and WiFi. Even on smart TVs this runs so much faster and smoother than the built in apps. You can also add tons of apps and games, which you cant do on most TV's

The fire stick was relatively easy to set up. However, there is a definite set-up process and you have to be willing to link it to your existing amazon account. Overall, it has worked well, but would have been nice if there had been just a plug and play (skip over all the log in stuff). With all that said, definitely worth the price.

Like the many options of apps and movie. Great for Netflix can go from tv to tv with ease.

The Amazon Fire TV stick is easy to use, and comes with a remote. You are able to access Hulu, Netflix and other programs. Price was great and I prefer this over the other competitors.

I have seen many devices such as these & for the money you just can't beat the Amazon Firestick or Fire TV right now. It is more powerful, has more memory & is all around easier to use than most of its competitors. Fo r the money I would suggest these. I gave out some for Christmas gifts this year.

The Amazon Firestick is and has everything one could want to cut the cable. All subscription services, PPV movies, TV shows (full seasons), Plus streaming music is available on this stick. Unfortunately it does noy=t allow local channels, but that can be fixed with an antenna. Requires Amazon Prime

Easy to use. Works as intended. Only got it so I could enjoy the Walking Dead on AMC. I purchase each episode for $1.99 through Amazon. PS You don't need to be a Prime member. Just use Amazon on Demand. My best enjoyment was cutting out DISH TV and getting an HD Antenna and the firestick. It's all I need.

The stick performs excellent. All the movies stream without any lag. Everything plays in 1080p HD. Has 7 channel stereo sound. The remote is easy to use. The way the remote responds is highly effective. I have not found any negative points towards this item.

I use this fire stick in my bed room. Purchase the fire Tv also. Personally i think if I had a choice one over the other I would recommend buying the more expensive one. Fire Tv just bring up movie faster than the stick. But if you don't have the extra cash flow the stick will be the right choice.

My husband, children, and I are all enjoying the firestick. My daughters are watching shows that I used to see when I was younger. My husband and I are enjoying new movies and shows on Netflix and Amazon. We also like that we can move the device from one TV to the next without having to set it up again.

This device easily connects televisions to streaming services like Amazon Prime and Netflix. While it does give me connection problems on one of my televisions from time to time, once it connects, it's works fine. It's very portable so you can move it from room to room. I love this little device.

Now that it has HBO GO, this is now my go to streaming stick over the Chromecast. I can still mirror my devices, which was the advantage of the Chromecast, as well as play HBO, Showtime, MLBTV, and Netflix natively through the device rather than streaming it from a computer or phone with the Chromecast.

Between the Fire TV, the Roku, the Fire Stick, and all the other possible options, the Fire Stick had the apps I wanted for the cheapest price. It's the same as the Fire TV, except it's a stick that plugs straight into the tv, rather than a box you have to find room for on your entertainment center. It's more portable, which is perfect for if you're traveling. You can plug it in to your tv at a hotel, and all your programs (Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO GO/Now, Hulu, Pandora, etc) will be available and ready for viewing.

All the apps I need in a small inconspicuous device. Makes binge watching a breeze. Even bought a few for my family members and they love it! Definitely a must buy. Highly recommended!!!

I have a Roku on one TV and Fire Stick on the other. You get more options with Amazon if you have a Prime account so I like my Fire Stick better. I have no problems streaming Netflix or free movies using this whereas the Roku gets stuck when trying to connect to Netflix. Great product for price.
